strong yet beautiful and manages to stay just on the right balance of cheesy and emotion.

Armed with a powerful voice that will turn heads and showing a strong transition between multiple types of songs by juxtaposing soft rock instrumentation with poppy choruses, Kelly Clarkson has created a record that shows she has something to offer, but still needs to mature in her sound to create a memorable record. The lyricism needs the most improvement, but the utterly enchanting vocals usually draw away from the less than impressive writing.
