This DVD would be absolutely amazing if it wasn't by Coheed & Cambria. 2 good songs spread over 4 DVDs? Wow!
It's pretty much porn for Coheed fanboys (of which Sputnik apparently has dozens), but one day, they'll grow up and discover actual porn.

I'm not a die-hard Coheed And Cambria fan, but this is pretty much the greatest thing ever. If you don't have this as a 5, you are a joke account.

Neverender is the epitome of generosity. To get all four albums spread over two DVD's for less than £15 is incredible in itself, but when the performances are this good then it is an absolute steal. The first show (SSTB) in particular is almost note perfect and the quaint additions that Chris Pennie adds to the drum beats is a welcome relief from the safe Coheed drumming of old, and delivers promises of an outstanding prequel album.

Hello, and welcome to my first ever review. I received this Coheed and Cambria the day before it's wide release, and I must say that I have enjoyed this collection very much. If you are a fan of Coheed and Cambria then this is really a must have for your collection. However, if you weren't able to get this particular set, then you are missing out.
4 live DVDs, 4 live CDs, 1 documentary, the photo book, and the metal dragonfly. Those are the items contained in this box set, and I will take a look at each section.
First and foremost, the metal dragon fly is a cool little knickknack for avid fans, it certainly isn't the best quality it could've been, but it is still cool nonetheless.
The photo book is not that long, but nonetheless cool. It starts out with a letter from the band giving a bit of background that you get during the documentary, but it is still a good way to introduce the book. It is followed by being split into 4 sections, each for the different albums/nights of the performances. Overall the pictures are really cool, and really crisp in quality.
Now, the 4 live CD's are exactly like the DVD's except for some things like the encores and some of the interludes between some of the songs on the DVD's. None the less it's pretty neat to listen to the whole albums live if I am out driving around or don't feel like popping in the DVD.
The DVD's are the jewels in this collection (obviously). The documentary gives a great background on the band and it's history. If you are a newer fan (like me) then this documentary lets you in on all of the stuff you missed. It's a well paced film, and the interviews natural and truthful. ALSO, there was one cool aspect involving Chris Pennie and Claudio Sanchez that I never knew, and you'll have to see this to know what I mean.
Now, the 4 live shows on 4 DVD's are so awesome! Watching them is like watching a movie. I think the bigger the TV you have, the more spectacular these DVD's are. You are not shafted at all when it comes to the video or sound quality of the music. There are times watching this that I feel like I am there in that crowd of people watching this band perform one of the greatest concert DVD's of all time.

EVERY Coheed and Cambria fan should have this live album. This one is made for the fans, not to gather new followers. Performing all of their albums live and playing them awesomely. Coheed and Cambria is a very great band live, that they have even exceeded what they do in the studio.

Well, you certainly can?t fault Coheed on their ambition. 4 concept albums played over 4 nights, all wrapped up in a narrative that is the Amory Wars in front of thousands of die-hard Coheed fans? This is some serious stuff, and is done justice by an extremely well executed live DVD. The un-dubbed sound is perfectly reciprocated from the live setting, the camera shots varied and focused, and the show itself? Awe-inspiring. Coheed truly out-do themselves here, perfectly notching themselves into a league of their own prog-rock-concept driven-live-opus. Epic.

This is the best release so far this year. The DVD show you in full detail how great Coheed can be live and also how good their music truly is. They simply hit everything perfect on each night and the whole show was authentic. Claudio and co. happen to hit a grand slam with this 9 DVD/CD release and have set the anticipation of their release even higher!
Also the documentary is very inspiring and is something to behold if you have the $80+ to spend to get this.

With Neverender: Children Of The Fence edition, Coheed And Cambria has released the quintessential release for any serious fan of the band. A self admitted fanboy, this has been on the top of my wish list since it was announced, and now that I have finally viewed and listened to this collection in all it's glory, this is potentially the best music dvd collection out there today. If Coheed And Cambria is your thing, pick this up ASAP, if you're only a casual fan pick up the 2 DVD version.
