Not too many bands in the "Christian" genre of music have the ability to capture fans both of the religious and non religious sides of music. Theocracy is one of the bands that can, and often do! From Power Metal Riffs and crazy drumming, all the way down to the subtle touches of songs like Bethlehem, this album is just amazing and totally rocks! When I listen to these guys, I find myself going back to listen to bands such as Hammerfall, and Iced Earth, and even some Jacob's Dream, as their music just puts you in a mood to go into a Power Metal listening mood of Epic proportions!

Not as good as the latest release but still really enjoyable. Also underrated band, maybe because of lyrical content.

Sadly, many Metal bands nowadays seem to lack ambition - not necessarily to do something new, just
something big, something epic, something complex; something ambitious. Theocracy is not one of such
bands. Except a few duller tracks (which limit my rating to a 4), the crazy OTT drums (exactly what is needed
in PM), the blurred choruses and verses, exceptionally melodic vocals and the twenty minute epic, this album
is a model of Power Metal done right. Give it a spin.
