The fact that it was done live with the The Metropole Orchestra may be the main reason I'd call this excellent. Within Temptation is a band known for making great music with at least somewhat complex arrangements. On this though, they really do shine and as they usually do for their big tours, they make it one hell of a spectacle to behold. If you liked the album versions of the tracks featured on Black Symphony, you'll love their live orchestral versions. Now, that being said, I can't call it perfect. Some songs don't translate perfectly to large scale orchestral arrangements and the guitars seem to get drowned out a bit by the orchestra. Still, it's an overall great CD and great to watch. To any Within Temptation fan, I'd recommend this.

The crowd, the orchestra, the pyro, the band, the singers(choir and guest vocalists) the band memebers, and Sharon's simply chilling and amazing voice made this concert a concert to remember. Simply epic.
