Rivers finally did it. He made an album that can comfortably slot in below Blue and Pinkerton,
firmly above the rest of Weezer's post-golden era albums.
Especially notable is the final trilogy of songs, The Futurescope Trilogy, where Rivers finally
lets loose the shred he's been bottling up since his prog metal days in the late 80s.

I'm ashamed to say that my first Weezer song was "Beverly Hills": to this day, the track remains a guilty pleasure of mine I never thought I'd bring up. "Say it ain't so," you dyed-in-the-wool fans cry out in harmonious unison. On the other hand, Everything Will be Alright in the End serves as a great comeback album with glorious songs that all sound like you're 16 again drinking a Slurpee, according to Rivers Cuomo.

The album that literally no one thought was ever going to actually happen, Everything Will Be Alright in the End is Weezer's comeback record, and it is absoloutely fantastic! My 3rd favorite Weezer LP.

Absolutely not a single original idea or concept of this album. So is it bad? Nope. Is it Pinkerton 2? Nope. Hurley was better than this. The first half is relatively mediocre, asides for "Eulogy..." and contains the poppy rhythms that made both the blue and green album best sellers. The later half has more complex, and some very memorable songs ("Foolish Father, Cleopatra"). The album is let down by some cliche lyrics and a few melodies stolen from a variety of sources, even old-school U2, but this is a great continuation of the comeback started on Raditude, expanded on in Hurley, and this wouldn't make a bad ending to their discography.

Geezers make new album which is way more boring than their old stuff. It just doesn't have those sweet vibes that Pinkerton and the self-titled had. Still remains uninteresting as a release without comparisons to their classic albums
