A glaring beacon of texturing and atmosphere in music, Leaves takes no more and no less than what it needs to suck you in. Much like a really long book, it is very exhausting, and I cannot blame you for not making it to the end the first time(Honestly, I didn't either, and I had to try many times before I managed), but once "get"(as cliche and uninteresting as that is) the album, it is one of the saddest, most haunting experiences you'll get in music, potentially ever. I haven't heard it as many times in it's entirety as I would like before I decide my rating, but safe to safe, I'll end up 5ing this.
This has to be one of the most sad, haunting, epic albums of all time. The guitar parts in this album just kill. It doesn't get much more atmospheric than this fellers
wow, this puts shivers into your spine at least one point during it's long playing time, over 2 discs or records. the cd does come out into a nice two folding double album. this is a very underrated record, since it didn't sound that much like some of their older material. but it's a very moving masterpiece of astounding poignance that it is not to be missed.
