Just going to assume this will be excellent and on the same level as first 3 (4?) albums. rDomino has reinstalled my love for these guys and I'm stupidly keen for this. Deluxe version rwas totally worth the $80 too! Edit: This album is really great. Lived up to all my rexpectations and I can't wait for Descension as that will probably make this album beyond repic!

Yup, it's a Coheed album. A grower, at that. "The Afterman" won't get out of my head and now that I can hear the rest in good quality, it's slowly creeping in there as well.

Co&Ca shows modern progressive bands how its done yet again, but this time with far more theatrics. The album's sound harkens to the robust sound of 1970s progressive band like Pink Floyd and Yes while maintaining composure in the band's unique style. And the story still hasn't gone stale!

This is definitely a reprise when compared to Good Apollo: Volume 2 and to a less extent Year of the Black Rainbow. It's lacking something that their earlier albums had, but that is likely due to the fact that it is only half an album as intended. This is sitting at a solid 4 for me right now 4.0/5. Grows Wonderfully

This album is fucking amazing. YOTBR didn't suck as bad as everybody said and neither does NWFT. Holly Wood is actually pretty damn good and Evagria has been stuck in my head for days. This is their best stuff since GA1. Too much bitching going around about this album, but hey it's Sputnik and all they do here is bitch

There's so much to love about this album. While only 9 songs and 40 minutes long (it is, however, only part 1 of 2), each song is different and great in its own way. It'll be hard for me and any other Coheed fan to wait 5 more months for "Descension", but after hearing the complete package I'm sure I will love "Ascension" all the more.

Coheed and Cambria continue to progress with this release. Instead of going back to SSTB, IKS, and GA....they give us a new flavor of Coheed that can appeal to fans of each album, and what more can you ask for? I would much rather have something new, than something that sounds like the albums they wrote in their twenties. This is the album they needed to make. Can't wait until February

got the 320kbps leak. Miles above the crappier one.rGreat stuff. Miles above YOTBR. It feels a bit short, but that's only because this is part 1 of a double-album. It doesn't flow too well, but the songs themselves are just great. Two specifically could have come from their second album.

The album feels much tighter as a whole, even if some tracks are stronger than others. My only real complaint
is that it's very short, especially by Coheed standards, but this is just half of a double album so it's to be
expected. Both albums played one after the other will sound mindblowing though.
