DIIV join in on the sound of the moment without feeling the need to personalize, flavor, or
put any amount of effort into uniqueness. Reverb instead of soul, shimmers instead of heart,
and blandness instead of demand. You have already albums that have honed this sound into
something more substantial. Move on, beat a new dead horse, already, Brooklyn.
Oshin is another pop record using entirely too much reverb for my liking and doesn't exactly bring anything new to to table. but that doesn't mean this album sounds bad because it doesn't. a very accessible pop record that i think is so sweet that anyone could enjoy it
