    April 19 04:23 PM
  • Havey meh idk, usually not a fan of humorous music, can't say i've ever employed the word 'hilarious' to describe an album... and toxin, seven words? LOL
    April 19 04:22 PM
  • toxin. ty mediocre composer gets mediocre rating lol. nice review ;-)
    April 19 12:55 AM
  • CaptainDooRight thanks bro I really appreciate those kind words. I take the writing aspect of my musical goals very seriously; referring to the lyrics of-course. The music itself is formed around the foundation of the lyrical concepts and words. So that's what I focus most on and take my time and really try to tie in each last thought into the other in consentience order. Doing research and understanding the meaning behind each conveyance is really important too.
    April 18 10:58 PM
  • lately cheeks de la cheecks
    April 18 02:09 PM
  • Havey but ****ing Shidaiqu man so good
    April 18 10:47 AM
  • Havey RYM handles it perfectly tbh, the original characters coupled with the official transliteration (if there is one) in brackets
    April 18 10:42 AM
  • Havey i can't even access the goddamn thing through my ratings, that's how ****ing poorly this website handles this s***. so yeah if there was an official transliteration (like Zhou Xuan is) i would've used that instead without question
    April 18 10:35 AM
  • Havey well i obviously can't transliterate it if there's no transliteration available. example: http://www.sputnikmusic.com/soundoff.php?albumid=114929, i can't access this fuking band page through the search bar which pisses me off, but there's no transliteration available (well the name can be roughly TRANSLATED to 'attenuation', but that's not the same thing) so i had to use the original characters
    April 18 10:32 AM
  • Havey i know chinese characters are prettier but it helps the database to transliterate whenever possible i hope u understand
    April 17 11:07 PM
  • Havey I resort to romanization because chinese letters get ****ed up. this database can't handle international characters properly, and since Zhou Xuan is an accurate pinyin transcription i'll go with that
    April 17 10:55 PM

  • YankeeDudel well i heard some of intimate rituals on youtube and thought it was cool. i dont really pay for music if I havent heard the album yet to see if its worth it though.as far as primitivism goes like i said it is classed under folk on RYM, here, and most everywhere else. there are other influences obv but most primitivism artists are tagged some sort of folk too.
    March 25 06:45 PM
  • Atari cool i'll check it out later tonight thanks

    February 27 04:21 PM
  • SgtPepper I'm still adjusting to to the title, but I'm excited to see how everything turns out. Hopefully I can bring some more prog and jazz to the table.
    February 27 04:16 PM
  • Havey I own it physically and it's a 5 x CD so i first approached it 1 cd at a time, around 30 pages per CD. I have since then listened to it all in one setting yeah, but i wouldn't recommend doing that the first time... Are you a Feldman virgin by chance? If so I'd recommend Triadic Memories or something that requires less endurance, because SQ2? One word: dehydration!
    February 25 08:01 PM
  • kitsch i responded with more info about the demo in my list :)
    February 25 06:52 PM
  • MadKungFu I'm trying to write a review for "Love Is Colder Than Death-Teignmouth" as part of the random album review game but I kind of feel like I need to listen to more Darkwave/Heavenly Voices to kind of get a feel for the genre so I can put it all in context. Have anything to recommend? Thanks in advance
    February 24 08:38 PM
  • TheNexus100 usually i just pursue music I think I will enjoy, plus ive grown off of tons of stuff I used to love, im not trying to be anything lol i just like stranger stuff now

    February 23 10:39 AM
  • MichaelSnoxall I thought you were a trve dm listener
    February 23 08:28 AM
  • Havey Def shares some qualities with Gorement, Carnage etc but they're more melodic than those bands, it also has the perfect length for a death metal album in my opinion, at just below 30 min
    February 23 01:22 AM
  • MichaelSnoxall You've never jammed God Macabre???????????????
    February 23 12:57 AM
  • Atari I don't know why I was so harsh on him he just annoys me and the first paragraph was retarded IMO. but I read the rest of the review and it was definitely better
    February 22 09:01 PM
  • Atari Lol that's not an answer. I won't take offense I just need to know if u really think that
    February 22 08:36 PM
  • Atari Do u really think that immortal technique review is better than anything I've done or u just ****ing around?
    February 22 08:12 PM
  • Havey it really is something else. as for similar players, i can't think of anything right now, but i'll get back to you on that if something comes to mind. i see you jammed some Rina Ketty, sweet

  • MisterTornado i HAVEN'T but trust me i've been drooling over the idea of it for months. i need to get a copy of it.
    February 21 04:55 PM
  • MichaelSnoxall It is if you like enjoying music that is good. Particularly if you like melodic hardcore. It's less enjoyable to doubt something and much more enjoyable to enjoy things. Plus I'm a Shai fanboy.
    February 21 08:25 AM

    February 21 03:05 AM
  • Havey lol sneaky, you're welcome. I've heard pour un pianiste, and it's fantastic indeed. I'd say it's essential for any fan of electroacoustics (or even abstract music in general)
    February 20 11:05 PM
  • MichaelSnoxall gross, dude
