| Jethro42 Hi, the closest you can go with GG is Etcetera - Etcetera. Sadly, they only released one album. Here it is; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q3tOes0y2hQ Lyrics are in French. The bands that I found the most inspired by GG have to be Echolyn, Beardfish, Spock's Beard, Discipline (mostly on ''Push and Profit'') and Neal Morse, but none of them adopted the exact same formula, except maybe for Echolyn that explores baroque music here and there. | CaptainDooRight yea def sounds better, there's a little clipping because your master volume is probably up to high which causes the max output to be force beyond its capability, other than that much better and I'm digging the Dissection SOTLB feel

| CaptainDooRight sounds great I personally like it, your drums are really low in the mix that might intentional. your vocals over the mix tho in some parts, its weird some parts are louder than others like at 00:27-00:35, i like the riffs those bro. overall you should mix the vocals better, add a tad reverb to them.

| Pennywise_M Yes, i definitely see where you're coming from. We measured the risks of going through with those atmospheric passages and we ended up very sure that this was exactly how we wanted them. We also organized them in a very conceptual oriented manner, i mean yeah, we really knew that it could compromise the solidity of the EP but it really sounded good, and gave us the right feeling.
