 | SadAndHolyGlow No problem. I really need to check "Violent Waves" out. I actually really like "Juturna" as well as "Blue Sky Noise" but "On Letting Go" and most of the stuff I've heard off of this new album is just meh. I'd say the band is pretty polarizing overall. Their style is just so same-sounding after a while but they have soooooo many fans.

| SadAndHolyGlow Great review for the Circa Survive album. I'm sick and tired of Anthony Green-championing, post-hardcore snobs dissing that review. Even if one wouldn't agree, I'd say that it's a killer piece of writing. People defend that band so often that they don't bother admitting that it's probably about time that they change their sound a bit.

 | Xenophanes Yeah I know. I've had it written for awhile so I was worried I jumped the gun a little bit in posting it a day early! Glad to see I have some company haha. I think your review (aside from being better written) will resonate better with the community. Ambiance is sort of a hit or miss thing around here, and honestly, had I heard Tunnel Blanket six months ago my review would be strikingly similar to yours. My penchant for ambiance has only been a recent thing.

 | MorningView425 thanks for the kind words man. i'm starting to get a feel for pacing and stuff, so it's good to here it's paying off to a certain degree. the hardest thing is finding interesting music to write about that doesn't have 30 reviews already. anyway, thanks a lot and i'll see you around here.

 | SeaAnemone I read your reviews fairly often actually, and Davey and AtaVan are definitely right... though a bit inconspicuous you're easily one of the better non-staff/contrib writers I think. I've been meaning to tell you for a while, keep it up and every one else will start noticing, too, I gaurantee

 | DaveyBoy No probs david. The review is really well written and I have liked some of your other reviews. The whole mid-section took the most to grow on me. I initially did not think they would, but they did. If you have not already, also check out drummer Jonathan Boulet solo LP. That mid section did not grow on me, but the start and end of the LP is really good.
