Sex Pistols. The band that defined the term punk. Never Mind The Bollocks. The album that made it iconic.
Even though the only album of the band, Never Mind The Bollocks is the most important album in the history of punk. Why? because it influenced the masses. With the iconic songs like "Anarchy In The UK", "God Save The Queen" and "Pretty Vacant", the band managed to get many of young punks to start a punk band. Hell, even the recording proccess of this piece of history is kinda interesting. Sid Vicious, known for his lack of the bass skills was replaced (!) by the original bass player Glen Matlock during the recording sessions. Not many bands do that! But back to the review. The songs are very well written and with awesome backstories. The intrumental part is rough but catchy, no wonder that Anarchy In The UK made it to the number one sport in the charts. But not many people think the same. The only think that they hear is just an angry music with angry lyrics. But you know what? Underneath those schock tactics, there are some of the gretest lyrics ever known to a man, reflecting the true frustration, rage and anger of that era's British working class. The dissatisfaction with the establishment is just bursting out from every song. These british boys have created a musical revolution with this one, and even now, their songs still remain relevant.
