You're Living All Over Me is the essential Dinosaur Jr release. Everything that is great about the band can be found here. This is, in a way, the perfect album. YLAOM is fun, catchy, and melodic, while at the same time bleak and depressing. J Mascis has a very fitting voice, and he is one of the best guitarists of his genre. Scratch that, he's one of the best guitarists ever. Songs like Little Fury Things and In A Jar are simply beautiful, and songs like Kracked and Tarpit are catchy and uplifting, yet melancholy at the very same time.
