Limp Bizkit to stop rollin', rollin', rollin'? 60 replies

Limp Bizkit guitarist Wes Borland has cast serious doubt on not only the release of the bands 'upcoming' album, but also the future of the band.

Discussing the 4 year production of Stampede of the Disco Elephants on podcast Someone Who Isn't Me, Wes states that-

"...truth is that Fred’s just not happy with what he’s working on – he’s not happy with it.”

“I don’t know if more is going to be written or not...”

Wes then ends by saying-

“So who knows how much longer it’ll be on that record, maybe forever…”

Limp Bizkit as of this moment still perform live, so perhaps the band will continue to be entity for the next while, but it seems 2011's Gold Cobra may be the band's last ever album.

G.L.O.S.S. Break Up 269 replies

Hardcore group G.L.O.S.S. has decided to call it quits, citing their "mental and physical health" as a primary reason.

A quote from their statement on Maximum Rocknroll:

"We want to measure success in terms of how we’ve been able to move people and be moved by people, how we’ve been able to grow as individuals. This band has become too large and unwieldy to feel sustainable or good anymore—the only thing growing at this point is the cult of personality surrounding us, which feels unhealthy. There is constant stress, and traveling all the time is damaging our home lives, keeping us from personal growth and active involvement in our communities. Being in the mainstream media, where total strangers have a say in something we’ve created for other queer people, is exhausting."
