The ex-Red Hot Chili Peppers guitarist is no stranger to genre-fusion and genre-hopping
between solo records, yet the public may expect a continuation and probable conclusion of
his recent electronica/breakbeat fixation as Frusciante describes this latest release, as
"... presently [his] last word on the musical statement which began with PBX
[Funicular Intaglio Zone]."

Legendary Louisiana sludge outfit Eyehategod have announced a new self-titled album, the first to be released in 13 years, to be released in Japan on May 21st on Daymare Records, in Europe, New Zealand, and Australia on May 26th on Century Media Records, and in North America on May 27th.
Says frontman Mike IX Williams in light of its creation and their drummer's tragic death in 2013:
"I have to say I don't believe we've lost nary a step in the creation of this album and we think these newer songs are a killer combination of classic EHG mixed along with our best production, mixing, engineering and songwriting in 13 years", front man Mike IX mentions. "The main and total tragic break in the chain, was obviously last year's
death of our great friend and drummer Joey Lacaze. However, his original drum tracks made it onto the final master recordings and we're fucking psyched about that..."
Part of the current "new instrumental grime new wave," London producer Wen broke onto the scene early last year with the Commotion EP, released through Dusk and Blackdown's Keysound Recordings. After a year's wait, the label is now about to release his debut LP Signals, which is said to be heavily influenced by everyday life in the UK capital or, as Wen explained to FACT:
"(...) I love what the underground scenes in the UK represent, and that feeling is deeply rooted in my music – I work hard to let that seep through. The album needed to cypher out my best work that captures those styles and lay them down in a coherent way, I think it spreads out evenly across those scenes whilst still holding on to my identity and stamping the style as my own (...)"

Progressive rock band 3 announced on their facebook page that they have begun recording the follow up to their 2012 classic, The Ghost You Gave To Me. They will be releasing a new song every month starting on April 1st.

Nuclear Blast Records have announced the details surrounding the self-titled album from the supergroup Killer Be Killed, which is set to be released on May 13.
The supergroup is formed by Mastodon's Troy Sanders handling bass, The Dillinger Escape Plan's Greg Pucciato on vocals and guitar, former The Mars Volta's Dave Elitch on drums and Max Cavalera on guitar.

Electronic producer Skrillex has, indeed, released a song called 'All Is Fair In Love And Brostep' The song, dubbed by Consequence of Sound as "amazingly titled", is believed to be a part of Sonny Moore's upcoming album Recess. Check out the song below:
Moore has also released a second song, entitled 'Coast Is Clear', featuring Chance The Rapper. The song is also set to be included in Skrillex's full-length, but we'll only truly find out when the album drops.

Record label and dance music venue Fabric has announced that UK house producer Maya Jane
Coles will mix the next edition of their venerable Fabric series. The mix will be
released on April 21, 2014, and will ostensibly contain "a raw house sound that is more
mature and approachable than ever" with "melodic qualities [which] offer yet more wonderful insight into Maya’s music world, a rhythmic language spoken with the both the soft sonic variety and thunderous impact we’ve come to expect from Maya’s DJ performances," according to Fabric.

Pitchfork have reprted that producers Hudson Mohawke and Zomby were involved in a physical altercation on March 7th at London's XOYO.

German art/prog rock band RPWL will release their new album, Wanted, in Europe on

Huntsville, Alabama horror punk band Cancerslug have released a new video for their song 'Girls Chained Up In The Basement Making Babies To Kill', which is taken from their most recent album, Seasons of Sickness
Modern Baseball premiered the music video for "Your Graduation" on Noisey. The track is the lead single off their recently released sophomore LP "You’re Gonna Miss It All" out on Run For Cover Records.
Dutch symphonic metal band Delain have released a lyric video for the song "Your Body is a
Battleground", taken from the upcoming fourth album The Human Contradiction. The
album will be released via Napalm Records in April.
