Brooklyn-based post-rock / atmospheric sludge metal band Sannhet are streaming their newest, So Numb, ahead of its August 25th release date (from Profound Lore Records). The Independent described it as, "a powerful representation of the band’s internal conflicts, the original wound, self-destruction and the redemptive qualities they continue to seek for the rest of their lives," in a recent interview with bassist AJ Annunziata.

Irish post/mathrockers And So I Watch You From Afar have announced their new album ‘The Endless Shimmering’ due out October 20th via Sargent House. The announcement was accompanied by music video for the first single called 'A Slow Unfolding of Wings' and a pretty vast Europen tour.

Just a few months after their polarizing concept record, Emperor of Sand, Mastodon seem to be returning with another full length record. Guitarist Brent Hinds had been talking of having the album be a solo project, but recently artwork was posted on his Instagram page with the Mastodon logo in it.
The album, entitled Cold Dark Place, reportedly drops on September 22nd of this year.
Pop star Miley Cyrus has released her newest song, entitled 'Younger Now", along with its accompanying music video on her Vevo account. The song will serve as the opener and titular track from her newest album, to be released in Sept. 27th.
Following the line from previous single "Malibu", the track sees Cyrus returning to a more conservative, "rock & roll" image, reminiscent of her earlier work but with a more country feel.

Drag pop group The AAA Girls (made up of Willam Belli, Courtney Act and Alaska Thunderfuck) have released the music video for their song "Heather", from their debut album Access All Areas. The song is a parody of Mariah Carey's "We Belong Together", features RuPaul's Drag Race alumni Manila Luzon and Stacy Layne Matthews, and heavily references the TV reality show.

American hard rock group Alter Bridge have now officially revealed their newest live album/DVD, as well as a collection of rare b-sides. The album, entitled Live at the O2 Arena + Rarities, will contain 3 discs, including every b-side track from all of their five studio albums. It is scheduled to be released on September 8th.

Alternative metal band 10 Years have officially announced their upcoming eighth studio album, entitled (how to live) As Ghosts. The album, scheduled for an October 27th release, is being produced by Grammy Award winning producer Nick Raskulinecz (Deftones' Diamond Eyes and Koi No Yokan, Trivium's Shogun, and Rise Against's Wolves) and is the first album to feature founding member Matt Wantland since Division in 2008.
Along with the announcement, the band also released the first sing off the album, entitled 'Novocaine'.
The New York based emo veterans Brand New took to Twitter today to announce their 5th studio album after 2009's Daisy like it was nothing stating simply that it's coming in October with merch and a tour to support.The vinyl preorders linked in the tweet below are up and very limited. The album is slated to be released in October of this year with a tour to follow.
EDIT: The vinyl sold out quickly, as expected. It is unknown at the moment when another pressing will roll out. At the moment those preorders were the only copies being sold.

Pop punk powerhouses, Neck Deep, have a new album releasing on the 18th of August. After 3 singles, the band decided to hype up the album even more with what seems to be an outlier of a song. The track, titled In Bloom, features a more toned back sound from the band paired with an aesthetically music video to match.
The Peace and the Panic will be Neck Deep's 3rd full length and will be out this Friday, August 18th, on Hopeless records.
Post-rock/ambient duo, Hammock have announced the release of their 8th studio album, called Mysterium. Due out on August 25, the LP was composed as a memorial to Clark Kern, a son-like figure to Hammock co-founder Marc Byrd who died in 2016 from the tumor strain NF2.

Ex-Crystal Castles frontwoman Alice Glass has dropped another new single, as of yet unconfirmed to be a part of a studio album or just another standalone single. The song, "Without Love" is her first new material since "Stillbirth" back in 2015. She is also embarking on a tour of North America with Marilyn Manson, starting in September.
