This summer, Tim Bowness will release the follow-up to his critically acclaimed solo masterpiece Abandoned Dancehall Dreams. The new album, mixed by Pineapple Thief's Bruce Soord is called Stupid Things That Mean The World and it will be out on July 17 through InsideOut Music.
The first single, 'Great Electric Teenage Dream' is out now and its music video can be watched below:
Chance the Rapper has finally released his collaboration with Donnie Trumpet and the Social Experiment, Surf. Hyped throughout most of 2014, the record is supposedly not the follow-up to the much acclaimed Acid Rap, with Chance admitting the record is more the work of Donnie Trumpet than himself.
Surf is available to download for free in the US right now on iTunes.
English drone/doom metal band Bong have their new album We are, We Were and We Will Have Been, available for streaming at the official Bandcamp location of Ritual Productions.
The 7th Bong full-length release is out since May 26.

Lindemann, the industrial project from Rammstein frontman Till Lindemann and Peter Tatgren of Pain and Hypocrisy, has released a new song entitled "Pain Abort" from its upcoming debut album, entitiled "Skills In Pills" and due out via Warner Bros on June 23. The album, which features Till singing exclusively in English, was recorded over the past two years while Rammstein entered a break to allow members to explore other projects (such as Richard Z Kruspe's Emigrate).

Italian Metalcore band Hopes Die Last has departed with members Ivan Panella (drums) and Marco "Becko" Calanca (Bass and Clean Vocals). However, they have announced two new members to replace them named Danilo and Yuri.

New Zealand's well-known Ross Bay Cult affiliates and war metal band, Diocletian, have officially announced the cessation of their existence, as they put it. The band released three-full lengths and numerous splits, EPs and a demo in their eleven years as a band.
The band publicly announced the break up bluntly and without regret or long-windedness, not unlike the way they approached their brand of music:
To new and old fans alike, its the end of an era for Diocletian, we cease to exist from this day on. 2004-2015ce.

After a 5-year hiatus/break/sabbatical/etc. Rhode Island noisters Daughters are back in studio recording their follow-up to 2010's critically acclaimed self-titled album.
No date of release has been scheduled yet but a recent photo of the members currently in studio seem to indicate that news might drop sooner than later.

Michigan post-hardcore act We Came As Romans have released their new single, 'The World I Used to Know'. The song is taken from their upcoming self-titled album. The single was one of 40 tracks that were written for their 4th LP and is now featured as one of ten tracks that made it to the tracklist.
We Came As Romans will be released July 24 through Equal Vision Records.

Barely a month after his last mixtape "Powder" was released, Bones has put out a new EP entitled "YouShouldHaveSeenYourFace." This EP marks his third release in 2015 and is, as always, available for free download via his Soundcloud page.
In a story that's quickly making its rounds throughout the music blogosphere, it's being reported that a fan was impaled to death in an accident during a Chevelle show on the 24th.
Originally attributed to the Chicago Tribune, it's being reported that the victim and two of his friends wandered behind the stage before the victim fell approximately 6 to 8 feet off a catwalk onto two metal rods. Naturally, the show was stopped once the body was found.
