Congrats to our new hires! 50 replies

Hi there.

After locking the staffers in a room without beer for a few days (and because the site was out of commission for a bit), they've settled on the first wave of promotions for the year.

Congrats to the following, who will be joining the staff writing team effective immediately:

JohnnyOnTheSpot, Jacquibim, Atari

A job well done to the following new contributors as well:

TalonsOfFire, TheSpirit, GameOfMetal, DoofusWainwright, beachdude

Please note that this is only the first wave. Each application we received was deserving of a promotion, which is why a second wave has not been ruled out for the year.

Both the current staff writers and the contributors (henceforth "the hiring committee" - I only get to press the magic buttons!) played a role in deciding the first wave.

For some applicants, it was the hiring committee's first exposure to you as a user o ...more
