Westerberg also had lots of love for Stinson, stating, "We'll call each other up when things go south, because we
know we can get a laugh out of each other. How many people do you know that you can call up and get a
guaranteed gut-wrenching laugh?".

While The Replacements last album All Shook Down came out in 1990 as a thinly veiled Westerberg solo-

Thom Yorke shares image of new record 30 replies

Thom Yorke has released a photo of a vinyl record, and in typical style for the internet and Radiohead fans, it has
been blown out of proportion to the utmost degree of stupidity.

Signs point to it having artwork similar to Atoms for Peace and Yorke's other solo ventures, however John
Greenwoods' indication earlier last week that the band would be recording soon may hold some substance in the
matter. Additionally, Radiohead have been noted for their fashion of releasing music nonchalantly and without
anticipation, with the trend most present with King of Limbs and In Rainbows.

Whatever it means, you can guarantee everyone and their cats cousin will be up in arms about the news by the
time you get home this evening.

Hardcore band Stick To Your Guns have announced that their fifth record Disobedient will be released on February 10, 2015 through Sumerian Records. The band worked with producer John Feldmann (The Used, Story Of The Year) during the recording process in the first half of 2014.

'Disobedient' is the followup to 2012's 'Diamond'. Vocalist Jesse Barnett had this statement regarding the album:

"Growing up in a world where we are taught to submit, blindly follow and unquestioningly comply, this album is a critique and unlearning of these Stepford mindsets." He concluded with, "Where we should be glorifying doing what is right instead of what we're told, we are only failing each other. Not anymore. Forever Disobedient."

This news was released through Alt Press and includes a short teaser of the album.

Monster Magnet re-imagine album 14 replies

This fall, Monster Magnet will release a re-imagined version of their latest record, Last Patrol. The compilation, entitled Milking The Stars, will be out on November 18 and feature four new songs, a few reworked versions of several tunes and two live recordings.

Regarding the album, Wyndorf commented: “This was a happy experiment for me. It’s not a re-mix record by the current definition. It’s more like ‘Last Patrol’ in a “what if?” style alternate reality.”

“What if these songs were recorded in 1968? What would happen if I turned a pretty song into an angry one?” How would adding creepy organs and Mellotrons affect the emotional vibe of a song?” These are just a few of the questions that roll around in my head when I write and record any album but this time I decided to actually answer them with fully fleshed out, recorded and mixed examples.”

“The process actually created new songs. That’s the icing on the cake ...more
