Refused fire guitarist 21 replies

According to a lengthy statement on the band's Facebook page written by the man himself, Refused guitarist Jon Brännström has been fired from the band under unclear circumstances.

The band has been largely inactive since a reunion tour in 2012, and there is no word on whether or not they will seek a replacement any time soon.

Here is the full statement:
I was fired from Refused a while ago. I wasn’t given a reasonable explanation and wasn’t even invited to sit down and talk about it, so I'm not completely sure why they decided to go on without me. We’ve always been better at punk rock than democratic processes and dealing with conflicts, so I guess I’m not too surprised it went down like this. Quite sad indeed, but perhaps it's all for the best. I have always been more interested in writing music than reproducing it, more at home in the studio than on the road. Chief Keef and Gucci Mane team up for new LP 8 replies

Just a day after dropping the collaborative track 'Paper' with Gucci Mane off his new mixtape Back From the Dead 2, Chief Keef has released a 12-track collaborative album with Gucci Mane, entitled Big Gucci Sosa.

Big Gucci Sosa will be available for download tomorrow on Halloween but the duo have decided to stream the album a day early.

Miss Fortune singer arrested 20 replies

Mikey Sawyer, lead singer of post hardcore band Miss Fortune, has been arrested on charges of domestic assault and battery, forcing the band to exit the upcoming Get Real Tour.

Additionally, the band has been dropped by Sumerian Records, with CEO Ash Avildsen stating that Sumerian "does not condone domestic violence, nor
would we ever support an artist that does".

Performing more than two thousand shows together around the world has been life changing, but also has kept us from spending time with our families and persuing our own passions and ways to grow individually as artists.
