As I Lay Dying frontman, Tim Lambesis, pleaded not guilty today to one felony count of
solicitation of murder from an undercover cop, as he was arraigned in the court. The
prosecution presented all the staggering evidence they have against the defendant, as he
looked on with a blank stare while shackled in a prison uniform behind glass.
It’s been revealed that Lambesis had emailed his wife back in August, informing he no longer
loved her, and how he didn’t believe in being a Christian anymore. A short time after he broke
the news, Meggan Lambesis discovered that her husband filed for divorce, and had a string of
sexual affairs with other women on tour.
Lambesis is accused of approaching members at the gym he attended, asking if any of them
knew of someone he could possibly contact to dispose of his wife. It didn’t take long for
authorities to be tipped off about his attempts to seek out ... more

In the latest installment to the breaking news story of the alleged foiled murder-for-hire plot crafted by As I Lay Dying vocalist Tim Lambesis, the rest of the band have released a statement to fans and media writing on their Facebook,
"As we post this, the legal process is taking its course and we have no more information than you do. There are many unanswered questions, and the situation will become clearer in the coming days and weeks. We'll keep you informed as best we can.
Our thoughts right now are with Tim, his family, and with everyone else affected by this terrible situation - and with our fans, whom we love and draw strength from.
Thank you for understanding, and as always, for your support of As I Lay Dying.
- Jordan, Nick, Phil, and Josh"
As I Lay Dying's distributor, Metal Blade Records shared the band's official statement and declined to make any further comment on the matter.

Frank Palmeri, frontman of Queens' metalcore band Emmure, got electroshocked from his
microphone while playing a show in Moscow. Palmeri, as always, gave his insight on this
incident through a couple of wisely chosen words on his personal twitter account:
"Sorry I almost literally died on stage tonight #Moscow. Getting zapped by 200 volts
feels like shit. Ya almost got me tonight. #STILLALIVE."
The show was immediately cancelled, and the band will resume their tour since Palmeri
sustained no severe injuries.

Tim Lambesis, lead singer for metalcore band As I Lay Dying, has been taken into custody in Oceanside, California after a murder-for-hire plot was foiled. The undercover detective responsible for the arrest is accusing the Christian musician of trying to solicit him for the purpose of killing the mans estranged wife.
Apparently the San Diego County Sheriff's Department had been somehow tipped off that Lambesis was attempting to find someone to do the deed. The police decided to organize a sting operation to see if they could catch him in the act and when the deal was set in stone bring him in for booking and interrogation.
As of right now the rest of As I Lay Dying and representatives at Metal Blade Records have not released an official statement addressing these serious allegations.

It would appear Frankie Palmeri wasn't expecting such a heavy negative reaction delivered from the aggressively confusing tirade he recently carried out on twitter. So the controversial metalcore figure has taken it upon himself to put things in layman's terms for anyone who didn't quite grasp his gospel the first time around.
“For the record non of what I’ve said tonight on twitter is directed towards anyone specific. It’s more a pattern I see and despise. If I speak my mind and it offended you then you’re probably just mad at yourself.”
“It sucks being smart. Not like computer smart but smart enough to notice how much easier life is when you stay quiet , observe and ignore.”
“I don’t give a fuck what the metal & hardcore scene thinks about me. I played enough VFW’S & been here long enough to see what’s real.”
“Oh yeah your rep is so legit dude. SIKE! In the end NO ONE CARES! The fact you care about me NOW is HILARIOUS!!! Have ... more

Frankie Palmer (Vocalist of Emmure) is pissed and has been sharing his thoughts on via Twitter. His harsh words sounds like it's targeted to other band members in the scene, possibly other vocalists.
Twitter:
“I’m sick and tired of watching dudes, step on stage scream about shit they don’t feel. You’re on tour CHEATING on your BABY MOMMA. Y u mad? Niggas have riches and parents who are doctors and shit. You are NOT real. Your words mean NOTHING. Shit is not a joke. You married? What you screaming for? Go love the bitch you convinced to suck your dick for the rest of her life. Poser."
"If you have somehow convinced someone to sit around and wait for your dick then you have no human reason to be angry. You’re a time vampire. So many are playing the game but act like their genuine. You’re a bishop crossing the board. I’m a straight forward rook. Diagonal ass nigga."

Math/metalcore group The Dillinger Escape Plan has released a lyric video for its recent single, "Prancer." If you've ever wondered what the hell Greg Puciato is shouting in the track, look no further-- although it's advisable to keep the 'pause' button within reach, as the words are still easy to miss.
Also, there's a cool message about 'swan songs' in the beginning of the video. Interpret it how you may.

The two remaining original members of Ohio metalcore group Attack Attack!, Andrew Whiting and Andrew Wetzel, have announced through Facebook that their ironically titled Back in Action tour this summer with The Plot in You will be the group's last. The band has been struggling to get back on its feet after the departure of founding members John Holgado and Caleb Shomo last December left Attack Attack! with no vocalist or bassist. This exodus, combined with new vocalist Phil Druyor's lack of comfort performing harsh vocals live, are certainly key factors in the group's decision to retire the name. However, the reasons for the breakup have not been explicitly addressed apart from the aside "we think it's time that we wrap up this chapter in our lives." A more detailed explanation may be forthcoming.

Killswitch Engage guitarist Adam Dutkiewicz has confirmed to Decibel Magazine that there is a project in work that features The Black Dahlia Murder drummer Shannon Lucas and Cannibal Corpse vocalist George "Corpsegrinder" Fisher:
"It was supposed to be a big hush-hush, but I think people are starting to catch wind of it," Adam said.
"When [Killswitch Engage] toured with Cannibal Corpse and Black Dahlia on the [Rockstar Energy Drink] Mayhem [Festival], I was just hanging out with George one night, and I was like, 'Dude, if I wrote you a bunch of songs to sing over, would you do it?' And he was like, 'Fuck yeah, man!' So, I've written about eight songs. I've played them for George and Shannon, and they're both down. So, we're just looking for a time get into the studio."
