Swedish progressive metalers, Wolverine, have released, "Machina," the first song off their long awaited follow-up to "Communication Lost." The new album, "Machina Viva" will be released on July 8th via Sensory Records.

After a week of cryptic marketing, Radiohead have released their new song 'Burn The Witch'.

Over the past few days the band sent leaflets to people who had bought through their webstore, deleted their online presence on Facebook, Twitter, Youtube and Google+ and released a video of a tweeting bird. The band has now released a full video for the song 'Burn The Witch', which is expected to be on their upcoming album.

No official release date for the album has been announced yet, though it is expected to be this June.

Puerto Rico-based experimental rock outfit Alaskalana has just announced the release of her third full-length record, "The Revolving Door". Set for an early May self-release, she expresses that this record will be a "brooding, draining and cacophonous experimental rock record that involves more vocals and lyricism". She gives us a glimpse at this new undertaking with her new track "Open", which is the opening track of the record.

As of April 26th 2016 the Massachusetts indie rock act Transit played their final show as band. The announcement of their break-up came in February 2016 right after the band publicly apologized for the European and Asian leg of their "Joyride" album tour cycle fell through and did not happen. Following the announcement the band embarked on a US exclusive farewell tour in April of 2016. The band has been active for 10 years and had released 5 albums and 4 EP's where the last being album "Joyride" was released through Rise Records in 2014.

Swedish vintage blues/hard rock outfit Magnolia, have posted a new track at the official SoundCloud location of Transbustans Records.

The song, titled "Ensamvarg" (Swedish for "loner"), will be part of the band's new album På Djupt Vatten (Swedish for "through deep waters"), which was officially released on April 29.

Danish metal powerhouse Volbeat have released "For Evigt" the second single from their upcoming 6th full-length album "Seal the Deal and Let's Boogie" which is slated to be released on June 3rd. The song features guest vocals by Johan Olsen from Magtens Korridorer who also provided guest vocals on Volbeat's breakthrough single "The Garden's Tale" from 2007's "Rock the Rebel/Metal the Devil". Chino Moreno/Bad Brains form supergroup 29 replies

Deftones' lead singer Chino Moreno has joined forces with Dr. Know (who recently suffered a severe heart attack) and Mackie Jayson of Bad Brains and Chuck Doom of Crosses to form the new supergroup, Saudade. Along with this announcement, the group also released the self-titled song via BitTorrent.

After 14 years of drama, Kiss legends Ace Frehley and Paul Stanley release a music video for "Fire and Water" by Free; as part of Frehley's new cover album Origins, Vol. 1 which was released on April 13th.

In an interview with the Rolling Stone, Frehley quoted"He jumped at the chance to do this because it's something that's outside of Kiss and his character in Kiss, and it gave him a chance to, you know, sing. With Paul, you usually think of him singing in a slightly higher register, and on 'Fire and Water,' he's singing deep from his diaphragm, and it's a real cool vocal. Everyone who's heard it just thinks it's the shit."

Busted recruit Cobus 4 replies

British pop rock trio Busted have announced their new drummer for the upcoming Pigs Can Fly Tour supported by Wheatus and Emma Blackery, which begins at Wembley on May 11. Playing in the live shows will be Pieter Jacobus "Cobus" Potgieter, who is best known for his YouTube channel and covers of various bands including Breaking Benjamin and Fightstar. He is currently the second most subscribed to drummer on YouTube. It is not thought that he will be a permanent member of the band.

Busted's as-yet-untitled third album is set for release in Autumn 2016. The band had promised new music before the tour begins in two weeks' time.
