It's rough being an independent band; while with the support of your fans and fellow music listeners, the message isn't always heard. That's the issue with Melbourne, Australia's Closure in Moscow, who are currently unsigned after parting ways with Equal Vision Records, had announced a new album. The last big news update came from their interview with Hear This! Promotions that they indeed began working on a new album in March 2012. Turns out, an announcement was made on their website that they were halfway finished with production on their new album Pink Lemonade expected to be released later this year. The progressive band announced this on April 4th this year. Sorry fellas! It's hard to keep up with so many music updates all at once. Anyway, the announcement can be read below with a link to an advance pre-order:

In an interview with Ultimate Guitar, Porcupine Tree frontman Steven Wilson stated he wishes to continue focusing on the solo career. After completing the current tour promoting his latest solo offering. The Raven That Refused To Sing (And Other Stories), Wilson wants to move on to scoring movie soundtracks. He said "My biggest unfulfilled ambition is to do a movie soundtrack. I have an agent now in LA, finally. That's pretty much top of my list of unfulfilled goals right now."
Regarding the Porcupine Tree reunion he also commented "It can't really happen without me instigating it, being the main writer and director. I don't have time in my life to do that and do what I'm doing now. I guess I have made the decision, right now, to concentrate on the solo career. That's not to say the band has broken up or anything like that. It's always conceivable that we could get back together in a year or five years, or 10 years. I really can't say - there are no plans ... more

rumors of work on a new album. The status update from the band's official page offered more
details on the upcoming record:
"This time we set our standards much higher and as the months have gone by we have written
about an hours worth of music which will be whittled down and added to over the year. We
have committed to a concept album in the true meaning of the word and where our last four
albums have been intended as films without pictures the new one feels a lot more like a
novel. A novel written by a confused and crazy man but still a novel!"
