Pop-punk group The Wonder Years have released a second single from their highly anticipated 5th album, No Closer to Heaven. The music video for the song, titled 'Cigarettes & Saints', can be viewed via Youtube below.
No Closer to Heaven is set for release on September 4th through Hopeless Records.
Max Cavalera's Soulfly have release a new song from their upcoming 10th studio album "Archangel", due for release on August 14. The song, 'Sodomites', features NAILS vocalist Todd Jones.
"Archangel" is out August 14 via Nuclear Blast Entertainment.
London DIY punk kids Rescue Dogs are currently streaming their debut EP, "Can't Complain", a day ahead of its release.
The 3 piece had previously released a covers EP entitled "Back to the Shack" but this is the first release of original material, recorded in their home throughout 2015 and produced by Mark Bell.
The album will be released through local label Serene Chaos Records.

American metalcore band Trivium have now officially announced their newest album, entitled Silence in the Snow as well as unveiling a new video of the record's titled track. The album is being produced by Michael Baskette, who was known for producing albums with Slash and Alter Bridge.
According to lead singer Matt Heafy, the album represents a drastic change in sound, featuring much more singing compared to their previous albums.
This is also marks the bands first album with new drummer Mat Madiro, replacing Nick Augusto who left the band in 2014.
The album is set to be released on October 2nd via Roadrunner Records.
'Silence in the Snow'
Sugary Sweet Machines, a two-person experimental outfit based in the US, have announced the release of their newest LP, entitled Deformity Disco. The band's third LP and first release of 2015, Deformity Disco will be Sugary Sweet Machines' most unique offering yet, with less post-rock and ambient influences and more of a focus on funky, noisy industrialism.
Deformity Disco will be available for name-your-price streaming/download via bandcamp on August 1, 2015. A link to their bandcamp and a music video for the track "Television Programs," which will be the second song on the album, are posted below.

Deafheaven have announced their new album, New Bermuda, to be released on October 2nd via Antihero Records. This will be the follow-up to the band's critically acclaimed 2013 effort, Sunbather. The new LP will not include their most recent single, 'From The Kettle To The Coil'.

Heavy metal legends Iron Maiden have uploaded a 27-second trailer from their upcoming album on their official YouTube channel.
The band's 16th studio effort is due to be released on September 4. The Book of Souls is Maiden's first double LP and the first one since Powerslave that includes two songs written exclusively by vocalist Bruce Dickinson.
Russian/Ukrainian post rock/doom outfit Kauan have premiered a music video/lyrics video for their upcoming 7th album, Sorni Nai.
The album is a single, 52-minute-long track, ruminating on the infamous Djatlov Pass Incident - a case where 9 hikers mysteriously perished in the frost-laden Ural Mountains, and the case was shut by Soviet investigators before any explanation could be offered, leading some to believe extraterrestrial forces were at work.
The video showcases the first 7 minutes of the album.
Sorni Nai will be available for pre-order on August 5th for an expected release on October 20th through Blood Music.

UK melodic hardcore trio Eight Days From Sunday have announced a number of changes following the release of their new EP, Surrounded By The Ones Who Want Me To Fail.
First off, the band has announced new bassist James Carty who replaces the outgoing Philip Whitehead, who departed due to commitment issues and creative differences. The band have also shortened their name to simply Eight Days. They are currently on the road in support of their new EP, which is the last to feature the former bassist.

Hungary's self-styled "Doll Metal" band Ann My Guard has released a new single ahead of their first European tour. The song, "Promise" is a tribute to Silent Hill composer Akira Yamaoka and is available for streaming below.

Norwegian lo-fi extreme metal band Mion's Hill are streaming their new album Torture at their official Bandcamp location.
The first side of the album consists of new material, whereas the second includes the Festering Curses demo, remastered for vinyl.

New Jersey outfit The Gaslight Anthem have announced through Facebook that they will be "taking a break" from the band after they wrap up their European tour this fall.
While each member will be involved in projects inside and outside of music, the band disclosed that they need some time to recharge, rather than "[make] a record just for the sake of making the next record".
The statement in full:
We wanted to let everyone know that we'll all be taking a break from The Gaslight Anthem after this next European tour in August. We're all going to do other projects and stay active in some way or another, both in and out of music, but we'd like to step away from the band until we decide what we'd like to do next.

In light of guitarist Justin Lowe's disappearance and subsequent death earlier this month, After the Burial have announced that they will not be performing on their scheduled Summer Slaughter Tour dates.
The band released a statement on the matter:
"In the wake of our loss, it comes with heavy hearts to inform everyone that we have decided not to perform on this years Summer Slaughter tour. The recent events have been unimaginably heartbreaking, and Justin’s passing is something that each of us needs time with our families and friends to recover from.
Justin Lowe’s story may have a sad ending, but the legacy he leaves us is one that should do nothing but inspire.

After rearranging Last Patrol, delivering the results under the title Milking The Stars, Dave Wyndorf & Co. will present this fall a whole new perspective of their 2010 LP, Mastermind, renamed Cobras and Fire (The Mastermind Redux). The compilation will be released on October 9 through Napalm Records.
