Indie pop band Annuals have been quiet and mention of a new album was well on the way, but that was back in December 2011. Since then, nothing had come and their last release was an EP back in 2010 called Sweet Sister. But a couple days ago, on April 23rd, the band released a new album Time Stamp with an explanation of the delay, the future of the band and other issues. The statement below is from the Bandcamp page where you can purchase the 11 track album for $8.

Athens Indie Pop band have announced via their Facebook page that a new album, Lousy With Sylvianbriar, is complete and set to release at some point this Fall. Songwriter Kevin Barnes has stated that this album will feature a departure in sound from the last few albums, citing inspirations such as The Grateful Dead, Neil Young, Flying Burrito Brothers, and Sylvia Plath. He wrote the songs during a two week "self-imposed isolation experiment."
Fans of the band who contributed to the Kickstarter last year can also look forward to Young Froth / Taypiss which is being shipped out this week. This release features the earliest known material recorded by the band. Also, come Summer, the band's documentary, Song Dynasties, should also be complete.
