05.16.15 | IMO every Act has been a step up from the last. II and III will be really hard to top. |

05.16.15 | so fucking excited better be a step up from Migrant |
jmnewcomer18
05.16.15 | I personally loved Migrant. Obviously not as much as most of their other work but I feel Act I simply doesn't have enough content in general for me to rank it above anything else in their discography. I feel like the story so far has gotten better and better with every album. The new song they have been playing called "Waves" sounds like it will be Act IV's "Saved". |
Rowan5215
05.16.15 | Migrant is a solid 3.5 but jesus christ some parts of it are as boring as anything I've ever heard
I'm also really invested in the story by this point and I'm excited to see where it goes in the last 3 acts |
jmnewcomer18
05.16.15 | Yeah. I feel like the only particularly weak tracks on Migrant are Cycles, Sweet Naivete and Shouting at the Rain.
And yeah me too. I just don't see them topping the last two Acts. I'd love to be proven wrong though. |
Rowan5215
05.16.15 | plus the Kiss of Life which in total is like 1/3 of the album not good
hopefully he goes in a new musical direction but keeps to the core feel of the last two which is what Act III did so well. Especially I would love some of the atmosphere of the Blue/Indigo EPs to be incorporated |
Archelirion
05.16.15 | Every time I see one of these albums come up I mean to listen to it and I still haven't -.- Looks like I have until September to catch up. |
jmnewcomer18
05.16.15 | The main reason I feel like Act III is their strongest effort is because it took everything great about Act II and added more personality, especially with instruments like the banjo thrown into the mix. Idk if this makes sense but I felt like Act II took itself too seriously at times, and I felt like Act III just let loose a little more without getting overbearing. Although I will admit that "Go Get Your Gun" definitely took that idea too far.

05.16.15 | @AaronIsCrunchy yeah dude. if I were you I would start listening to The Color Spectrum last as musically it has almost no relation to the Acts (except maybe the Violet EP). Just work your way up from Act I. |
Rowan5215
05.16.15 | Aaron do it do it Aaron DO IT
Act II is defs one of the most self-serious albums probably ever and the lack of reprieve from that is a little overbearing. I actually love Go Get Your Gun just for that reason (should've been called Go Get Your Goon tho) |
jmnewcomer18
05.16.15 | Both Act II and III are at a 4.5 for me. I just like that Act III has a few songs that although lyrically speaking maybe not much so, just present a really upbeat tone.

Rowan5215
05.16.15 | Act II is still jam packed full of jammin jams don't get me wrong |
jmnewcomer18
05.16.15 | I can't stand Oracles. Smiling Swine, aside from the intro and a couple other small sections, just doesn't grab me at all. Aside from those, the whole album is consistently great. |
Rowan5215
05.16.15 | Oracles ruuuuuuules nig |
jmnewcomer18
05.16.15 | ew dude wat no |
jmnewcomer18
05.16.15 | just wayyy too sugary for my tastes. |

05.16.15 | Every song on Blue either sounds samey or drags on too long imo. Except Tripping in Triplets love that song. |
