09.12.13 Ask Ilovetree.
IbenizGEO1
09.12.13 fine Y(t)=ce^(2t) +3e^(5t) solve for C using the point given. Pretty sure this is right
IbenizGEO1
09.12.13 Yea if its not
Ask Ilovetree. [2]

09.12.13 I'm going to learn differential equations in a few weeks. The only advice I can give is to jam St. Anger.

09.12.13 >>Was hoping for a math rock list
I came in here expecting that as well.

09.12.13 I'm having a hard time figuring out what the problem exactly is. Might be related to not having done any serious math for like half a year. I suggest watching some football for now.

09.12.13 "I've resorted to sputnik for help cause you guys seem smarter than my friends"
Who are your friends, man?
TheSpaceMan
09.12.13 basically using the equation from my first comment, solve it using the initial value point y(0)=5.
@ibeniz that seems right but when you solve for c it gives 8, which my online hw wont accept as the answer... is there something I'm missing? This list has turned up more help than anywhere else I've tried
DrMaximus
09.12.13 If that's true, your friends must be at a level of retardation I can't even begin to fathom.

09.12.13 three years ago I would have been able to help you. Ask me next year after I've returned to uni.
TheSpaceMan
09.12.13 wow never mind, forgot the solution is the equation with "c" filled it. Just got it right, thanks Ibeniz; appreciate it man!

im not sure because i assumed the answer was the integrated form of the differential equation which would give you a constant (C) then to solve for it with the point given. i had trouble understanding the initial question like treeqt did. also my math might be wrong. : P
