Some Of My Favourite Zombie Movies/tv Shows

I've been on a bit of a zombie/outbreak film/show rrrcraze lately and just finished Dead rSet, which rI rliked even more than TWD.
1Dawn of The Dead

10/10 My number 1 favourite zombie film without question. It stands the test of time as being the defining moment in the zombie horror genre. Improving greatly on the effects of Night of The Living dead, and producing more character development than any other zombie film I've seen.
2Shawn of The Dead

10/10 Yes this is more modern, but there's no denying the excellent combination of dark comedy and horror in this excellent British film that made the careers of Simon Pegg and Nick Frost.
3Night of The Creeps

9.5/10 This movie came as a big surprise. Upon hearing very mixed reviews, I didn't know what to expect. The result was a film that blended romance, comedy, drama, horror, and action all in the span of 88 minutes. The 2 main characters were particularly entertaining to watch with their quirkiness, and Tom Atkins was definitely a big supporting star. Criminally underrated and unappreciated
4Dead Set

9.2/10 (whole mini-series) Being this a low budget production, I was surprised how great the effects were. There was even a body being torn apart scene that was highly reminiscent of the original Day of The Dead. The acting was solid, and even though the characters were a little underdeveloped, the quality of the dialogue highly made up for it.
5Day of The Dead

9.5/10 Some may disagree with me for putting this so high, but with so many memorable moments, and a bit of a twist on the zombie genre (bub), this was an exceptional film that really scared me when I first saw it.
6Braindead (Dead Alive)

9.5/10 The gore effects alone that take place in the famous lawn mower scene is just 1 of the great things about this film. The custard scene, the quirkiness of our main character who takes care of his mom the best he can, and the hilarious Peter Jackson cameo, are others that stand out.
