08.17.13 | I have alpha one anatitrypsin deficiency. It's hereditary so my dad, one of my aunts and both my little brothers have it as well. Basically it's where your liver does one of the following: produces the incorrect chemical to protect your lungs from all the shit you breathe in; or it does not produce it at all.
Basically I can't ever smoke anything at all cause my lungs will fail very quickly |

08.17.13 | i've gotten better with social interactions tom it's more of just worrying what others think of me at this point, like i'll start talking to someone and start to become friends with them and then i'll say something dumb or something like that and it makes me feel like i'm being an annoying little shit so then i feel like i shouldn't talk with them anymore and idk it's kinda fucked |

Type two is when your pancreas gets overloaded and can't take insulin at all anymore or whatever, so you can't have sugar anymore or else it fucks you up
Type three is if you get type two from being a fat piece of shit, a common misunderstanding is that it's too much sugar that causes type 3, but it's really over eating in general |

aww, it's all in your head. nobody would really think that. |
tommygun
08.17.13 | yeah kman i know exactly what you mean, i've been there myself
you just gotta keep putting yourself out there and not avoiding social situations cos that just makes it worse
just remember that people you interact with are just as fucked up as you are in their own ways and could well be nervous as hell too
if you are open and warm and friendly with people they respond to it
keep making the effort and it pays off man, then one day you realise that it's not even an effort anymore and you're not bothered by anything and it feels great |

"As of 2010 there are approximately 285 million people with the disease compared to around 30 million in 1985"
Fun fact: If you got type 1 before they invented insulin shots and shit, you would just die. And the best way to find out if you had it is if ants were attracted to your pee |
jdennis31
08.17.13 | sulbutiame helped me quite a bit too with any sort of nervousness or anxiety. Sulbutiamine – In higher does sulbutiamine will cause anxiety, so less is more when considering what your dosage should be while supplementing sulbutiamine. Low doses of sulbutiamine eliminate anxiety, and enhance mood — possibly even a slight euphoria. This supplement is also a stimulant in higher doses, combined with L-Theanine it can be rather pleasant and definitely a great two o’clock pick me up |

08.17.13 | "Type one diabetes is when your body doesn't create enough insulin, so you have to take insulin shots and eat candy bars and shit"
No. Someone with Type 1 Diabetes creates NO insulin. You only eat candy bars, if you have low blood sugar.
"Type two is when your pancreas gets overloaded and can't take insulin at all anymore or whatever, so you can't have sugar anymore or else it fucks you up"
Type 2 Diabetics can still have sugar; you'd die without it. Type 2 Diabetes is usually delt with by taking pills to help regulate blood sugar.
"Type three is if you get type two from being a fat piece of shit, a common misunderstanding is that it's too much sugar that causes type 3, but it's really over eating in general"
What. The. Fuck. Type 3 Diabetes is when pregnant women develop Diabetes.

08.17.13 | I used to have awful Anxiety in middle school, like I would be paranoid about everything and school was pretty much the only time I left the house. I guess I got it from my parents since they developed it while living in a war torn country. All three of us take medication and it's really helped. |
jdennis31
08.17.13 | Nvm on the phenibut. Apparentely it's only real purpose is as a GABA-b agonist which would make tolerance really easy to build and cause bad withdrawals. GABA-a agonists should be better for constant use, though it will take a few weeks of dosage before you really notice the effects on your social anxiety. |

08.17.13 | pramiracetam >>> piracetam as far as nootropics go |
jdennis31
08.17.13 | different strokes for different folks. piracetam just interacts better for the majority of nootropics users. @gianxgx i'm not an expert at brain chemistry, so you could be completely correct. however, i'm not seeing any reported cases of od on phenibut or any of the gaba-b agonists mentioned. |
geasoftime
08.17.13 | Phenibut has pretty mild withdrawal in my experience. It's legal and cheap so in my opinion, it's worthwhile - worst case scenario you taper off of it. |
jdennis31
08.17.13 | the internet disagrees with you, and now I'm sort of ashamed of putting it out there before doing more research into it. withdrawal symptoms seem pretty bad, and tolerance seems real easy to build. although, alot of these fuckers seem to be really dumb and using it 3-5 times a week at really high dosages. i'm reading other people who cycle on and off phenibut saying its not bad. |
jdennis31
08.17.13 | how did you dose? i'm pretty good with maintaining consistent dosages when it comes to my nootropic stack. the effects of phenibut actually seems pretty amazing if used properly. |
geasoftime
08.17.13 | I've never had any serious problems with it. If you use it as a drug of choice, you might be in for some trouble, but anyone with any sense wouldn't turn to a GABA agonist for recreation. (For the sake of other people on here I'll note that GABAergics are the only class of drugs that can kill you from withdrawal alone.) I use it sporadically, and sometimes for days at a time and I've never really had any withdrawal effects whatsoever. Maybe slight psychological effects, but that's it. I haven't ever really had GABA withdrawal symptoms even after 6 months of 10+ times daily GBL usage, or the year that I drank a box of wine every day. I may just be lucky in that regard. |
geasoftime
08.17.13 | I don't use it daily. I have OCD, and I have resultant panic attacks here and there. I take it when needed. |

08.17.13 | nothing, i feel like i have OCD, mild depression, bipolar, and ADD but i dont take meds or anything |
jdennis31
08.17.13 | I see. Well I suppose anyone with a good sense of self-awareness would know when it's time to taper off if it's becoming a problem. Though, alot of times, the symptoms being treated aren't conducive to self-awareness. |
GiaNXGX
08.17.13 | it's just that gaba-synergics can cause almost irreparable damage to gamma receptors, once initial contact is done dependance develops too quickly. i think there are no numerous human reports of benzodiazepines OD, barbiturates yield more detrimental effects faster anyways. i mean withdrawals. |

08.17.13 | I have Gilberts syndrome, which 90% of people never know they have due to the vast majority of cases being unsymptomatic. However in a small amount of cases symptoms can range from being mild to severe. Essentially it means if my liver becomes stressed (through drinking alchohol or eating certain foods) my chemical levels in my liver can go haywire and it can make me quite ill for a day or two. In most respects its not bad in the three years since the onset i've been hospitalised twice mainly because i didnt know how to control it. But now i've stopped drinking and eat a healthy diet its pretty much under control. |
