I quit right before I almost certainly would have gotten fired from one of my postgrad jobs I hated. the first job I had out of college was some stupid visual data entry shit and the second one was even worse (EXCEL SPREADSHEETS) and that was two years of my life and I felt sooooooo lazy and sad and unmotivated and useless at those places
then I took up teaching and I feel completely fulfilled even though I still procrastinate a lot and it's nominally more stressful than the stuff I was doing before. so much happier! |
