12.30.11 2011 Roundup

2011 Roundup

A list of 2011 releases that I acquired in 2011, in approximate order of acquisition. Not including ra couple of things I've ordered that will likely arrive in 2012. If we're into similar stuff, please rleave me recommendations of worthy 2011 albums that I missed.
1Revolting Cocks
Got Mixxx?

Not too impressed with the new "RevCo" material, but I felt compelled to have a complete Revolting Cocks collection.
2Slogun
We Human Animal

Interesting power electronics album.
3KMFDM
WTF?!

Finally got to see them live this year.
4Decree
Fateless

Excellent industrial rock.
5Ok Ztein Ok
Prolet Kult

Impressive new side project of Sascha from KMFDM.
6ohGr
unDeveloped

Listened to this a fair bit, but I much prefer their first two albums.
7KMFDM
Krank

Gotta catch 'em all.
8Genocide Organ
Under-Kontrakt

Also enjoying their new side project Ke/Hil, which I believe was from the very end of 2010.
9Sewer Goddess
Disciples of Shit: Live Waste

One of the better "newer" industrial projects, IMHO. This is a bit more rock/metal-influenced than last year's studio album.
10Prurient
Bermuda Drain

This is the first Prurient album I really got into. I prefer his "music" side to his "noise" side.
11Mona Mur and En Esch
Do With Me What You Want

I saw them live this year too. Great performers.
12COUM Transmissions
Sugarmorphoses

Vault release of piano/tape experiments made by Genesis P-Orridge a couple years before forming Throbbing Gristle.
13Skinny Puppy
hanDover

Obviously.
14Nyodene D
Every Knee Shall Bow

Harsh death industrial project headed by a noted young critic/documentarian of the industrial scene.
15Chris Connelly
Artificial Madness

Great rock album from one of the real Revolting Cocks.
16Buck Satan and the 666 Shooters
Bikers Welcome Ladies Drink Free

Debut of Ministry's fun country-rock side project.
17Zola Jesus
Conatus

Beautiful post-darkwave whatever. Hey, popular isn't ALWAYS wrong.
18Thorofon
Exkarnation

Not sure why this one was so overlooked by electro-industrial fans, it's not bad. Nice SPK tribute.
19 Prurient
Time's Arrow

I have one of the yellow ones. Why doesn't the picture show up?
20Various Artists (Industrial)
Albeit Albeit / Sibelius Spiders

Split LP of rare '80s recordings by two obscure Italian acts, Cicciolina Holocaust and Sermonizer.
21Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross
The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo

I haven't even seen this movie yet.
