So I hardly ever use this site anymore and I figure I might as well finally bow out with the list of my personal 100 favorite albums, uhhhh no rap will be on this list just so I have room for Emery discog and other assorted bullshit. The list is in really no order outside of the top few albums.

In Defense of the Genre

"Goodbye Young Tutor, You've Now Outgrown Me" has slowly became my favorite Say Anything song
24Arctic Monkeys
Whatever People Say I Am, That's What...

"A Certain Romance" might be the only song from this album I still enjoy thirty years from now, and I am perfectly okay with that.

14Agalloch
Ashes Against the Grain

Probably my favorite metal album ever, do you even "Falling Snow"?
13He Is Legend
I Am Hollywood

Potentially the catchiest album ever, and easily my favorite album to sing in the shower. Shame the rest of their discog is fairly average (where is George to disagree with me?)
12Blessthefall

WHERE MY HATERS AT?? This album seriously fucking slays and any hater can fuck off while me and Rob jerk off back to back listening to this post-hardcore/metalcore/scene masterpiece.

Illinois

Really the first indie-ish album I ever listened to, fucking gorgeous and "Casimir Pulaski Day" one of my all-time favorites.
6Say Anything
...Is a Real Boy

This album sums up high school for me pretty well. Helped out with some angsty eras that is for sure. Just so goddamn catchy.
5The Microphones
The Glow Pt. 2

Worst Eric would be proud [2]
4As Cities Burn
Come Now Sleep

Damn this makes me look really religious lolz anyways this album is such an emotional heavy hitter for me. "Contact" is the song I want played at my funeral.
3Burial
Untrue

I debated putting this so high up here, but no other album has completed shifted a mood in just one listen like this album has for me. Every single chilling sample, dissonant whine, and fluttering bass line is perfect in every single aspect. So hard for me not to put this at one.

"I wasn't sure if we could be friends"
2mewithoutYou
Catch For Us The Foxes

"Carousels" is potentially mewithoutYou's best song.
1mewithoutYou
Brother, Sister

It is indeed hard for me to pin down if I love this or Catch For Us the Foxes more sometimes, but whenever the end of "O, Porcupine" and the segue to "In A Sweater Poorly Knit" makes that decision for me. "C-Minor" and "A Glass Can Only Spill What It Contains" are just so damn flawless as well this album will honestly last me a lifetime. Feels forever.
