Rec Johnny EPs (please!!!)

Spur of the moment decision, I've decided that from tomorrow I'm only gonna check EPs I haven't heard (along with a couple of new releases) for a few days. Have been on a glitch/electronic groove recently, so bonus points if you can hit me up with stuff in that vein. If not, y'all know my tastes (/stalk my ratings if no :]:]) - throw whatever my way! Good stuff. Falls a little bit into the classic math rock pitfall of everything coming across at the same wavelength, but these guys are a notch above in the melody dept and their use of brass goes a long way

And You Will Know Us... meets As Cities Burn? Nice. Not a huge fan of the heavier moments here, but the second track is a massive highlight and nets this big points.

Had heard this before but for some reason never came back to it - and now I think I see why. Other than Material Control, this feels like the trickiest GJ to get into, but the ideas are A-grade and Vanilla Poltergeist Snake alone is hype material. Gonna be chewing over this for a while...

This one has a strong enough mood that the EP runtime feels short and sweet; could easily see this sound stretched out to a full-length (and will have to check their LP sometime). Third track is atmospheric glory, this has grown on me in general.

More than anything else, this makes me want to revisit her full-lengths; this is nice enough, and Kimi wo Shiritai is a lovely track, but the pacing feels a bit off in the band tracks and she doesn't seem to have found her feet quite yet

First time into Autechre, let's see... The title track is awesome; I can vibe this a lot, v engaging glitch. The other two, not so much - the programming might be sophisticated but the premise of taking a series of deliberately off-kilter, selectively melodic loops and repeating them over and over til they track burns itself feels a little obvious here.
