I Really Should Be Reading But...

List of albums I've been digging a lot lately. Some are recent, some are not.
10Between the Buried and Me
Colors

Seriously, I've only heard one or two songs by these guys, but "Prequel to the Sequel" has such an amazing intro that I just know there has to be other songs on the album that are as good as this one, even if it's just certain parts of the songs.
Seriously, if you haven't heard the intro of "Prequel to the Sequel", to listen to it. Now.
9Saosin
In Search of Solid Ground

It's like the least loved release by these guys, right? Well, it has it's moments, and those moments are pretty fricken sick. It's pretty hard to drag myself away from "Is This Real".
8Radiohead
In Rainbows

Over the past few days, I've been under a Radiohead Spell. Dammit, Radiohead!
7Secret and Whisper
Teenage Fantasy

Caught myself listening to this on my way to and from New York last weekend. Love this band way more than Saosin. At least, for this album I do. The album is amazing. Charles' vocals improved so much.
6Tool
10,000 Days

Like this more than Lateralus (yeah, come at me), and I have been listening to it a lot lately. Vicarious, Wings for Marie 1 + 2, The Pot, and Right In Two are sooooooo damn good. Getting ready to see them this weekend (FUCK YES!).
5Death
The Sound of Perseverance

It's been one of my favorite albums ever since I heard it for the first time, but now I've been listening to it when I fall asleep. Strange?
4Peter Gabriel
Peter Gabriel III

I am a big Peter Gabriel fan, but it is hard to listen to his songs when they aren't on your music provider or youtube and you're an anti-piracy bitch like me (again, come at me). But after hearing all of these songs again, just seriously: damn. This and So have to be his best.
3M83
Hurry Up, We're Dreaming

Definitely my favorite album of 2011.
2Radiohead
OK Computer

Like I said, Radiohead put me under a spell. And seriously, each time I listen I like it more. I'm getting a bit worried.
1Genesis
Selling England by the Pound

Again, I am a huge Peter Gabriel fan, but Peter Gabriel in Genesis is just amazing. Listened to this for the first time about a week ago, and I cannot get enough of it.
