keep having some issue where it redirects me to another user's page instead of posting a list so hence the weird title and incomplete state, so wanna test before i put my time into 50 or so solos on this list
Not really ordered, not listing painfully obvious ones like Tornado of Souls or whatever. probably gonna have some actually pretty scuffed songs on here but trust me the solos are good!!! also doing only 1 album per guitarist so we don't get multiple Alex Skolnick / Jon Levasseur appearances flooding the list
hopefully successfully avoided any overlap between albums. ran out of ideas pretty fast so throw me some recs if i've missed any that are obvious (but not super obvious tornado of souls crazy train type stuff)
was trying to avoid ones u'd find on boomer lists if u know what i mean. hence no tornado of souls, floods, welcome home sanitarium, ect (also the reason I put Sin of Omission instead of Practice What You Preach). also never really dug kirk hammett's style so probably wouldn't put it on anyway
yeh i actually sorta wanna do one for the "chaos" guitar solos like that cus some definitely stand out. ironically despite me saying i don't like kirk hammett i really like his solo on The Thing That Should Not Be which i think does the whole chaos solo thing really well
