Killer Be Killed
This is the type of album that just doesn't hold much value in my eyes. It's okay to make music that doesn't reinvent the wheel, but at least make some effort to distinguish it. Killer Be Killed more or less lives from the fact that they're a supergroup, to me. It doesn't seem like they genuinely sought to make overly impressive music, and thus the album isn't really that impressive. |

It's probably the first thing someone would use as an example of a "by the books" outing. There's absolutely nothing that could compel someone to choose this over some other, better offering in the thrash metal genre. Outclassed and plodding. |

This is amongst the most boring albums I can recall ever having heard in my life. There's no spirit at all. There's nothing that might point to the group as giving a damn about what they're writing. |

I know it's not nice to pick on other Sputnik users, but to hell with it. This is bad. Really bad. I honestly don't know if it's a genuine effort or a troll album. It straddles the line between the two above, so either it's supposed to be terrible or it's so lazy it just happens to be. It's hard to even tell what's happening in most moments, partially because the audio quality is atrocious, but mostly because I feel like this was a parody of... something. Maybe it would be cool if I could tell what was going on. |
