All-black Detroit proto-punk band. They had begun recording their debut album in 1975 when Columbia insisted that they change their name. They told the label to fuck off and Columbia pulled their support of the album. The band disappeared. 34 years later this album, consisting of 7 songs recorded in the 1975 session, was released. It's fucking good. |
