Intothepit 09.14.15	Being "stuck" with a healthy Dez isn't a bad thing. Hilton, Dez, Peyton, and Bell were my keepers. I had a helluva team on paper for fantasy, but now it's in shambles due to injury, ineffectiveness, and suspension. Ugh.

Cutler gets a ton of hate around here, a good amount of it deserved, but every time he goes out it proves how much better he makes this team look. i've watched him for over 6 years, and you can't tell me that if he was on the Giants or Ravens the years they won the Super Bowl, the outcomes would've been the same if he'd been starting instead of Flacco or Eli.

I've been down on Cutler since some dingus (Emery) decided to sign him to a huge 7 year contract after McCown won a majority of the games and a Cutler-led offense is what kept us out of the playoffs. That said, I thought he looked pretty damn good the first week until he threw the pick. I didn't get to see Clausen in action Sunday and this coming game is already a loss (because Seahawks), but I'm interested to see how he does. If there's no QBs in the draft when we inevitably pick inside the top 10 (likely top 5), at least it seems like Pace will rebuild the decimated Chicago defense. You're right that Cutler's on the same level as Eli and Flacco (who both kinda suck, but have led superbowl teams), but at least those guys don't get injured every 3 games. I don't put too much stock on the Super Bowl either - lest we forget one Rex Grossman who was there with the '07 Bears once upon a time. Also got Travis Benjamin off the wire, but not gonna risk playing him until after this week. If he hits 3 in a row, fuck it, I'll play him.

They have none of those because Kelly let Mathis and Herreman go and traded LeSean McCoy for an often injured linebacker and then went out and picked up a running back built for a power run attack.
