Just as funny as its predecessor, but it has a heart and isn't so one dimensional as
the other rap artists/albums that came before it. He changed the game, it wasn't

Hilarious, but immature. A great major label debut. This is where we see his spirit

Only buttmad megatools hate this album. Scary as fuck, I needed to dig my Mr.
Funnybones out of storage to comfort me for the shit he was saying. The Hannibal
Lecter -esque calmness and the spine chilling premise. There are a few turds that I feel
like he was forced to make sound radio friendly, but otherwise, I enjoy this one. | | 5 |  | Eminem

A few great songs on this album, and the whole idea is that he doesn't give a fuck
about the whole business behind an album, but it gets old before you even expect it to.
Oh noes he's so out of control and edgy. Somehow I think the suicide at the end is an

07.22.12 | What really irks me is his trashing HIS OWN ALBUM in Recovery of Relapse. To me, that's just something you don't do. Unless it's actual contrition for his OWN effort and not what other people thought.
But if you thought your own album sucked, why would you release it? This is Em giving into the fucking groupthink critics.
The first lesson an artist should learn is to generally ignore critics, they're not good for you artistically. But as with everything else, nothing is black and white. It could be an honest opinion, or it could be venomous executives thinking eminem's return would squash their carefully hedged and trimmed small time artists they've invested so much forced advertising on... | Destructerator
