Rec Me Authors

For 17 years of my life I complained that reading was boring, but I rstarted reading last fall and haven't stopped. Who are some of your rfavorite authors, Sputnik? List is shit I've read and enjoyed over the rpast few months.
1I Am the Avalanche
I Am the Avalanche

Kurt Vonnegut - Breakfast of Champions, Cat's Cradle, Mother Night,
Slaughterhouse Five, Look at the Birdie; Wacky but sentimental without
being overly dramatic or sappy.
2Cruel Hand
Prying Eyes

John Grisham - The Firm, The Client, The Brethren, The Summons; Pretty
standard law-themed novels with predictable but fun action. Honestly I
don't know why I enjoyed these as much as I did.
3The Sidekicks
Grace

Charles Bukowski - Ham on Rye, Women, Factotum, Post Office; Bitterly
honest and blunt descriptions and stories about his fictional character
Henry Chinaski. Lots of introspective shit that I can relate to. Also, "Women" is the closest thing to an erotic
novel I'll probably
ever read. Says "cunt" at least once a chapter.
