2013 Albums That Deserved More Attention Then They Got

Doing a Album of the Year list is way too much effort. Deciding if rsome albums are rbetter then the one next to it is too hard for me. I rthought about doing multiple lists by rgenre but i would have albums rthat were the only album of their kind that i listend to rthis year (for rexample, the Anamanaguchi album. So I decided to do albums i rthought rdeserved more attention so it would be just a rehash of rwhat everyone else did. The list ris in no particular order
1The Republic of Wolves
No Matter How Narrow

Band that deserves more attention then they've received in past 5 years
2Beastmilk
Climax

Best Post Punk albums of the last decade, hands down
3Boysetsfire
While A Nation Sleeps...

So Glad thier back
4Anthony Green
Young Legs

Who was expecting this album to be good based on his previous solo efforts
5Direct Hit!
Brainless God

SOO FUCKING TASTY
6Future of The Left
How to stop your Brain In An Accident

I was happy to get 2 FOTL albums 2 years in a row but this might be their best
7Coliseum
Sister Faith
8Vista Chino
Peace
9Native
Orthodox

Very Different post hardcore, vocals faintly remind me of Fear Before
10Vanna
The Few and The Far Between

I think this is one of best hardcore albums this year, still not sure why sputnik doesn't dig it or them
11State Champs
The Finer Things

2nd best Pop punk album to come out this year right behind The Wonder Years. A pop punk band hasn't this good of a
debut since Under Soil & Dirt.
12Dead Letter Circus
The Catalyst Fire

Along with Twelve Foot Ninja & Eleventh He Reaches London they're one of the best bands out of Australia right now.
13Deaf Havana
Old Souls

This was really different than want i was expecting (this is the first album by the band i listened to)
14Turnover
Magnolia

Its a good thing this album came out because it helped filled the void left by Transit's new album
15Wolf Down
Stray From The Path

Good Hardcore album, but i can't stand straightedge bands that are always over the top talking about how straight edge
they are. Straight Edge is Kind of like Atheism, (Mind this is coming from an Atheist) Like hey if thats what you do that's
cool but if your the own always talking about how you hate X and your so Y it just gets fucking annoying and everyone
wants to punch you in the face
16Cage the Elephant
Melophobia

This is really good album to pack a bowl and smoke it to.
17Old Gray
An Autobiography

Quality Skramz
18Tancred
Tancred

Really catchy, Really different from Now, Now. She's got a promising future in music
19Crash Kings
Dark of the Daylight

Feeling Led Zep vibes here.
20Big D and The Kids Table
Stomp

Good Ska album I like what they did with this and stoll, so i can listen to this and not bother with the kind of music they
put on stroll and their last few more recent albums
