unclereich 04.14.20	Ive been furloughed for 3 weeks and havent gotten a payment but when I contacted the office they told me this is the reality for many people due to how many are all applying at once. They said it could take longer but theyll retroactive it back to the original week you were laid off/ furloughed no matter what. I know its super frustrating man but we have to be patient. You’ll likely be receiving checks long after youre back to work since they are so behind. Good thing is you made more than 75k last year and you should have a robust savings to fall back on like me who lives off a teacher’s salary.
JustJoe. 04.14.20	i can’t get through to a human to correct the mistake they made on my form & when i get through to a human they refer me to a number that i can’t get through to or tell me to go online to make corrections to their mistake that they made on my original application but the corrections to be made aren’t corrections that can be made online & my original claim appeal period is up but they won’t let me file a new claim at all because apparently it’s not up & when i went to appeal it they said they would email/contact me but instead two weeks went by with no such contact & that’s when my appeal period ran out & they told me when they cancelled the appeal that they would not be making payments if they do make them for the time before if/when the claim is accepted & then they refer me to websites & numbers that i cannot get through to anyone at all & i made under $10 an hour when i worked & don’t have money in the bank to pull from & i’m trying to be patient but honestly am sick of hearing that they aren’t certain of what to do about my situation

JustJoe. 04.14.20	i couldn’t file my taxes last year because i was unemployed for the final six months of 2018 & my official work for 2019 started in march of 2019 but the required pay stubs for the temp work i did weren’t available or something & at some point i kept the job at the same place but under a different company
JustJoe. 04.14.20	there was a strange in between phase of conditions where i missed the deadline to file because i was unemployed during the filing period so it’s complicated
unclereich 04.14.20	in order to reach a human at the Nevada unemployment officeI had to call everyday well over 200 times. so be persistent, you cant give up as you have no other choice.once you get things straight you will make unemployment plus 600 dollars on top of it per week according to the CARES act.
unclereich 04.14.20	if that is too much go to fedex/ups and get hired as a warehouse worker or a local store as a stocker. everything that is open here is hiring and for more than minimum wage...and we have the highest unemployment in the country
