The threshing floor
"Terre Haute", "Orchard Gate", and "the threshingfloor" are all very good songs. I
actually prefer this record to The Laughing Stock and Refractory Obdurate. I love
the middle eastern vibe on the record and believe this record, along with Mosaic, is
the height of Edwards' lyricism.

Been on a Scogin kick recently I love the way his voice sounds
As High As The Highest Heavens And From The Center
I'm pretty sure the only reason I got this record is the album title and I like
supporting texas rock'n'roll bands. Very Codeine-ish which is a good thing "skull
eyes" and "doomser" are great songs.

Houses of the Unholy
One one the most baddest ass records i've ever heard.
Spirit of Eden
I've never truly 'listened' to this record if you know what i mean. Like I've listened
thru it several times but never gave it the proper attention it deserves y'know.
However I listen to "rainbow" a lot and that song is amazing gets me every time
shit. Jesus when the harmonica (is that what that is?) starts in like two minutes in
or whatever, y'know that's just fucking great.

As the Roots Undo
I haven't to ATRU or any other CTTS songs in like 4 or 5 years probably. But I wear
a CTTS shirt I got in high school all the time mostly cuz I've gained like 30 pounds
since high school and it's the only shirt from that time that still fits me. I mean it's
really tight but it mostly fits. Anyway it got me thinking what do I think about ATRU
now? And I thought it was brilliant in high school and then as like 19 year old
asshole I said it sucked and shit on sputnik (i mean I didn't really say anything
about CTTS but I up voted Michael Jordan's negative review of ATRU) but secretly
still liked it alot. Now the only thing I remember from the record is 'interview from
the ruins", mostly just that awesome chanting at the end of the song. So I just
wanted to check with sputnik, but that was the best song on that record right?
