Sleeper Wherever I Fall
Movie: "Demonlover" Rating: 6.5 out of 10 Review: This is a movie about corporate espionage and shit. It reminds me a bit of the Abel Ferrara directed technothriller New Rose Hotel. Demonlover's probably a bit better, the plot is more coherent anyways. NRH does have Christopher Walken playing an eccentric genius and Wilem Dafoe as a badass with powerful seductive powers. Also Asia Argento is naked a lot. Although in Demonlover Chloe Sevigny plays video games in the nude so it's not without its charms. Anyway the film's about some shadowy corporations fighting over the distribution rights of a Japanese porno production company that makes hentai and is working on making 3D CGI porn. Honest to god I don't care much for that 3D porn shit y'know. Anyways the film also bears resemblance to Videodrome and Funny Games. It's a fine movie worth a watch if you're into this kinna shit.
The Trinity Sessions
Movie: "Hard Target" Rating: 7 out of 10 Review: This was John Woo's first American picture and it stars a gloriously mulleted Jean Claude Van Damme as a cajun in New Orleans. Van Damme's suspiciously Belgian sounding cajun accent is amazingly not the worst Cajun accent on display in the film. That award goes to none other than Wilford Brimley. I have no idea what the man was going for but it's altogether brilliant and beautiful. The movie's wonderful there's tons of bullets blood and doves and Van Damme kicks 100 people in the face and karate chops a rattlesnake into submission. The bad guys are all deliciously evil specially Lance Henrikssen.

Rabbit Fur Coat
Movie: Mission: Impossible 4 - Ghost Protocal Rating 6.5 out of 10 Review: They seem to keep tryin' to top themselves with the most ridiculous location they can set the next action set piece. And y'know what it's fun as hell to watch. That chase through the crazy sand storm was especially memorable.
Movie: Killer Joe Rating: 8 out of 10 Review: This is a damn funny black comedy that has one helluva disturbing final 10 minutes. There's a scene in that section that actually recalls the dinner scene in The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Also a woman is forced to give a fried chicken leg a blow job. Let's just get that out there. It's said can't be unsaid.
Movie: Cosmopolis Rating: 8 out of 10 Review: Me and my sister were once talking about RPat and she thought that despite how terrible he is in the Twilight films he has the ability to be a good actor, and I said I could seen that and that he sort of reminds me of James Woods. And I swear this was before he was announced to be in a David Cronenberg film. Anyway RPat is terrific in this movie he anchors the movie well. The dialogue is, well strange. Far more removed than anything Cronenberg has ever done before including Crash. But hell I came around to it, that final section of the film with RPat and Paul Giamotti monologueing against each other is especially affecting.

True Love Cast Out All Evil
Movie: Premium Rush Rating: 6.5 out of 10 Review: Joseph Gordon-Levitt was in three pretty cool action films last year that I'm aware of. Premium Rush was a little overlooked but it's a real cool movie. It's an interesting concept y'know bike messengers what the fuck use email guys. But anyways Michael Shannon is a great villain and that scene where JGL and Shannon first meet followed by a great chase scene is a height the movie doesn't reach again but the rest of the movie is fine. Though the climax is a little uninspiring.
Bring the Family
Movie: Serpico Rating: 8.5 out of 10 Review: For a long time I've only known this movie from the Always Sunny episode that spoofed it but I was talking to my dad and the movie came up and I'd mentioned I never seen it and he was like you're tryin to become a cop and ya never seen Serpico whatdafuck'samatter with ya kid? So I was shamed into watching it and I'm glad I did she's a classic for a reason boys and girls. Although some of those outfits Pacino's sporting in the movie are fucking ridiculous even by early 70s hippie standards.
