04.24.23 | primarily a NASCAR fan but I warmed up to F1 during that great 2021 championship battle and gradually lost interest again as it became so Max-dominant. Ricciardo and Seb were my dudes when I did sporadically watch (the time zone conversion is rarely kind since I work most Sunday mornings) and that's taken a toll on my interest this year, but I have friends who are really into it and their enthusiasm rubs off enough on me to keep tabs on the headlines |

04.26.23 | My hope is that Checo tags Max on the first corner, they both dnf, then Alonso wins and leads the championship standings for one race. That being said, it’s more than likely the prediction you said. Hamilton drives great here, so if they get lucky on strategy Alonso might face some heat for third, but not likely.
All that being said, it’s the first sprint weekend with the new format, so only one practice session and quali on the same day might shake up the race order like we’ve never seen. Can’t say I’m in love with these sprint races, and the new rules around them this year, but it might shake the grid up in an interesting way, we’ll see. |

04.26.23 | Tbh, I hate the entire sprint race/weekend thing. It adds nothing to the sport, just unnatural excitement factor. Less practicing often may shake up the grid, but it'd be easier to reduce them a little bit (BUT also giving extra testing time to the teams, that'd be the only way to be fair).
I also want to see Alonso win again, but I don't think this will be that track. Aston isn't that strong if high top speed is required. |

Absolutely. If Russel and Zhou could complete a race in the lines (not a single issue with track limits), so the rest could do as well. Like Verstappen and Alonso also finished the race with only one deleted lap.
