Bitstream 05.15.11	It's a combination of chamber pop and spoken word. I had never played most the instruments until recording began. It's in infancy, but the closest thing to expressive art I've ever made.
tkxxx7 05.15.11	I like it. But then again, I'm in love with 4 and 5. I'm actually in the process of writing something similar to this, albeit with a bit more hip-hop influence.
Bitstream 05.15.11	I have a hard time NOT classifying it as hip hop, because the rhythm and rhyme structure is similar. There aren't really line breaks, it just flows. Whenever it's done, leave me a shout and I'd be down for a listen!
tkxxx7 05.15.11	Alright, it'll be a couple months though. But once again, I really like what you've done here. My plan was to have about 25 "songs", each about 1:00-1:45~, titled "Lots of Things"

Bitstream 05.15.11	Thanks for the feedback, erveryone. I'm recording a follow up with actual symphony musicians so it'll probably be a lot better. Ironically, I was leaning towards making the music into a more La Dispute style hardcore sound.

whywontyoudie 05.15.11	seems like Native and La Dispute are completely inconsistent with their live performances. a friend of mine told me they were both great when they played at a house party he went to but i've read a lot of contradicting comments about both.
PostModernJellyfish 05.15.11	Yea, I hear that a lot, too. Regardless, Former Thieves put on a hell of a show and La Dispute followed suite. Defeater was fantastic...but they had a rough start; sound issues and whatnot. Native....had a forgettable performance, to be totally honest haha.
Bitstream 05.15.11	Thank you again, everyone! It'd be amazing to get a review for this. I'm trying to get a bit more of a name before releasing anything else. Demos aren't exactly the best thing to subsist on.

spillingmercury 05.15.11	Lovely instrumentals, not sure how I feel about the vocals. Not so much how your voice sounds, but the pace it goes out. It's like someone really nervous and embarassed trying to mumble through a poem they wrote and get it over with. Or like when you're skimming a death threat aloud. But I guess it's because there's so much you're trying to say in such little time. You have really beautiful visuals in your lyrics though.
Bitstream 05.15.11	I should have clarified, when I said Jerry was sampling this CD, I meant the music I had made, not Bad Luck. The vocals were iffy to do, because I wasn't ready to do spoken word yet. It takes such a voice to do, and I couldn't find one at the time. I went with the closest thing to natural, which was the nervous whisper. It still feels like it's mine, though, so I ended up with something despite avoiding it.
