| Albums I Am Seriously Looking Forward To
Albums that I'm looking forward to for the rest of this year. | 1 | | Bring Me The Horizon Suicide Season
They keep saying in all the posts about this album that it's going to be crazy different and bring in all these new elements. Either way, BMTH is still a favorite of mine. Can't wait. | 2 | | It Dies Today Lividity
Just go listen to "Thank You For Drinking." The old IDT is back, and I couldn't be happier. Jason sounds amazing on record...and it's just a demo. | 3 | | The Acacia Strain Continent
Once again, I heard their new song and almost creamed my pants. Seems like more of the random, brutal, half-speed, weird-tempoed breakdowns and sadistic lyrics we've come to expect. I don't know if they could tune their instruments any lower, honestly. | 4 | | Unearth [Currently Untitled]
I heard one of the new songs live and it literally blew my fucking mind. | 5 | | Funeral For A Friend Memory And Humanity
They've always been a favorite of mine, ever since I saw the video for "Streetcar" on Fuse. Post-hardcore, post-punk, post-whatever, FFAF kills, and after hearing "Waterfront Dance Club" I'm super stoked for this album. | 6 | | Underoath Lost In The Sound Of Separation
With everything that the members have been saying about this album going back to Underoath's old roots, I'm definitely interested in checking it out. Underoath had one of the most unique styles on some of their older releases, and when you combine that with the styles found on their later ones, it should make something quite interesting. | 7 | | Heavy Heavy Low Low Turtle Nipple And The Toxic Shock
The best spastic band out there. Random in every since of the word, and this album title made me crack up when I heard it. Hopefully it's every bit as good as their last one. | 8 | | DragonForce Ultra Beatdown
Yes, I know...many people think DragonForce is just a gimmick or that all of their songs are the exact same. But they are probably the most fun band I've ever listened to...I own two of their three albums and it makes sense to get this one too. Hopefully it's more of the same from these guys. | 9 | | The Classic Crime The Silver Cord
Ever since I heard "The Coldest Heart," this band has been kinda under the radar for me...someone I liked but didn't listen to a whole lot. But I've heard a couple songs off this release and it's really really good. Less than a week away. =] | 10 | | Misery Signals Controller
Misery Signals has always been that band that can blend brutality with melody and make it sound so sweet. I'm hoping this album continues the trend. | |
