I raided my parents' vinyl collection the other day and took a bunch of cool
stuff mostly from the 80's. I actually have a decent collection going now. I
also included all the newer records I've bought at the end
Probably the best find. What makes it more awesome is that my parents don't listen
to this kind of music so i figured out that some guy just gave this to my dad with a
bunch of other records like 15 years ago.
A bunch of these records got water damage from a basement flood a couple of years
ago. The case is pretty much destroyed but the record is somehow in perfect
condition.
Whiny teenager - "You don't understand"
Cool parent - "Shut the fuck up I'm listening to Straight Outta Compton"
A generational gap well and truly closed.
