Top 20 Streetlight Manifesto Songs

In celebration of the Hands That Thieve...here is Streetlight's objective top 20 songs.
20Streetlight Manifesto
The Saddest Song

I used to disregard this as one of the weaker tracks on Everything Goes Numb compared to the longer tracks, but I was sorely mistaken.
19Forty Days

This one has some of my favorite instrumental moments of any Streetlight song; the bass lick at the beginning and the guitar solo that mimics the horn motif at 2:50 are of particular note.
18If Only For Memories

I love little drum solos carved in between the spanish horns midway through the song.
17Would You Be Impressed?

I am impressed.
16They Broke Him Down

When the drums kick in the first verse ooooo boy.
15The Blonde Lead the Blind

What this song lacks in hooks it makes up for in one of Streetlight's best brass lines.
14The Littlest Things

13Down, Down, Down to Mephisto's Cafe

I wish they stuck with the mellow opening a bit longer but oh man that chorus is infectious.
12That'll Be the Day

11The Big Sleep

10The Hands That Thieve

Unlike their other title tracks, this one took a few listens for me to really grasp but once I did, fuck.
9We Will Fall Together

Not even the best of their openers but it's so good.
8Watch it Crash

Very meticulous instrumental performance...the quiet break about three minutes couldn't be more effective.
7The Three of Us

The characters' dynamics in the lyrics support the song's structure quite well.
6Here's to Life

5With Any Sort of Certainty

I don't even know why I'm writing descriptions for these songs anymore they're just incredibly enjoyable. Best song on The Hands that Thieve.
4Somewhere in the Between

I can't believe I'm only putting this song fourth.

2The Receiving End of it All

I considered putting this first but...
1A Better Place, A Better Time

This is still their greatest song.
