12.15.11 | I've heard Fallen House, Sunken City and A Healthy Distrust and neither really grabbed me even after giving each a few listens. Also I have masters of the universe but i wouldn't have really considered it indie hop personally (although i'm by no mean an expert in the hip-hop genre so i could be wrong i guess) |

12.15.11 | fallen house sunken city is a grower, and is a less-accessible album to those who aren't in to rap that much. Check out The Failure by b. dolan. it's a weird ass album, a lot of it isn't even rap, but it's bone chilling.
I've never heard the term "indie-hop" before.. but masters of the universe is definitely an indy rap record... no major label released that.
also you should check out more Atmosphere/Slug's side projects if you haven't already: Lucy Ford, Overcast! When Life Gives You Lemons, Deep Puddle Dynamics, The Dynospectrum... all of those are dope records. |
