I don't think there's anyone playing at that time though so I might stop by to kill time (or go take a nap we'll see how I'm feeling haha)

SCREAM! 06.21.17	added set times to the list like guest did some pretty big gaps here and there (especially on day 1) that I'll be filling in at random as I go (could potentially meet up during those times) or just taking it easy (went to Rockfest once 4 years ago and I appreciated having the occasional moment to leave the grounds and get out of the crowd for a while) Noticed I'll have to leave Converge 10 mins early if I wanna catch all of Alexisonfire :(

SCREAM! 06.21.17	I live in Ottawa which is usually only about an hour drive to Montebello so we figured we'd leave the Friday morning Bad idea. Montebello is a tiny ass town with like 1 major road that was backed up into oblivion and we got caught in there for like 2 hours and missed a few shows because of it. So this time around we'll be heading over Thurs evening. Hopefully it'll be quicker to get in but it'll probably still be a shitshow
someguest 06.21.17	That's what I expected. I should probably gas up about 30 kms out of town too, right? I heard there's ONE gas station in the town. We'll be getting there late Thursday afternoon.
SCREAM! 06.21.17	I don't remember what the gas station situation was like but 1 is probably right and with the crowd they'll be getting prices will probably be inflated too So yeah, try and gas up as far as you can
butcherboy 06.21.17	there are two gas stations relatively close to the festival grounds.. one on rue notre dame (5 minute drive), and one on rue papineau in the nearby town, Papineauville (10 minutes if you take the 148 O thoroughfare).. though the traffic there will be fucking slammed, so plan on maybe 20 minutes..

someguest 06.26.17	Man, it was one of the worst experiences of my life. There was so much water, car got stuck in the parking, the camping was a fucking eternity away from everything, way too many drunk/stupid people, and the outside venue itself was too small for the crowds that showed up. Never again.

SCREAM! 06.26.17	Yeah it's no doubt going to be my last year there as well although, numerous logistical bullshit aside, the bands were awesome. Rammstein's live show was like nothing I've seen before
SCREAM! 06.26.17	The camping was a 15ish minute walk so, yeah, annoying but idk not my biggest worry. Our parking was a fucking walk and a half away from the campsite though which was a fuckin pain in the ass for loading/unloading the car. Agreed hard on too many idiots/too many people in general

someguest 06.26.17	Yes, the parking was the worst part. People were stuck in the Ska lot and the festival was doing nothing to help them get out. Some random dude in a tractor was pulling people out for $50.

someguest 06.26.17	Rammstein were cool. They were the last act we saw before we bailed a day early. We'd had enough. We were fucking exhausted. I don't understand why they don't have you park your vehicle next to your camp site like other festivals (i.e. Bonnaroo).

RunOfTheMill 06.26.17	I was there! Had the time of my life! Stuck around for most of the shows you went to as well, nice. The traffic was awful coming in, yep, but we got up at 6 on Sunday to get out, and it was a breeze. Mud didn't bother me, had my billy boots and poncho. Only thing that sucked was that there was nowhere to sit down, so standing up 9+ hours was painful, but the shows made it worth it. Agreed the lineup was incredible, it'll be hard to beat for the years to come. My fav was def Rammsetin, stage production was amazing and performance was full of energy and vigour.
RunOfTheMill 06.26.17	Also idk I found some good parking by the train tracks right next to the campsite, so I mean ¯_(ツ)_/¯ def from no thanks to the fest employees, most had no idea what was going on or where was what, had to be pretty self sufficient
SCREAM! 06.26.17	We ended up leaving as soon as QotSA were done playing Go With the Flow (so missed one or two songs at the end of their set I think?). Had to make the 35min trek back to the parking lot but otherwise the drive out went really well for us too

someguest 06.27.17	Thursday killed it. Bad Religion put on the best set I've ever seen live. Goddamn, they were good. The Offspring, Terror, and Rammstein were awesome too.
RunOfTheMill 06.27.17	I'm kinda bummed I missed Bad Religion. I caught the beginning of their set, but my buddy wanted to see Born of Osiris (which I wasn't really impressed by). I have never even listened to BR, but I was enjoying it dammit!
SCREAM! 06.27.17	I ended up missing BR simply because I forgot they were on at 8 and went back to my tent to grab food after AFI which finished at 7:15 lol
