01.23.13 | Can't stand most drone, but I find Boris to be painfully average at most. |

01.23.13 | It used to be something I enjoyed very sparingly but I've just been craving it for the last few days for some reason. The three Boris albums I've heard so far have been great (that one, pink and smile)
Thanks for the recs guys |
bigguytoo9

I agree with the Khanate reccomendation! Ultra heavy shit. |

01.23.13 | Sunn O))) would probably make the top 3 of bands I absolutely want to see live. What I've heard about their shows sounds absolutely ridiculous |

01.23.13 | haha although I'm seeing some big sarcasm there I have to say 2012 was a surprisingly strong year for us.
From February to December I got to see
Eluveitie twice, Wintersun (opened for Eluveitie the 2nd time), Beyond Creation, Converge with Loma Prieta, Marduk with 1349 and Withered and Weapon, Maiden with Alice Cooper, Kreator with Swallow The Sun, Alestorm with Insomnium
On top of that Anaal Nathrakh, Cryptopsy, Neverending White Lights, Cunninlynguists, Bon Iver, Mastodon all came (sure there's more I'm forgetting/didn't hear about).
Unfortunately I've heard of fuck all for 2013 so far |

01.23.13 | Also saw Protest the Hero |

01.23.13 | yea it wasn't too bad. I opened for the marduk and kreator show, I went apeshit during the cryptopsy show, that was awesome. still pissed I missed beyond creation |
SCREAM!
01.23.13 | Planning on seeing them in Montreal in June. They'll be playing on that Cannibal Corpse/Napalm Death/Immolation tour. Also going to be going to Guelph at the end of April to finally see Opeth. Very stoked for that. The show I'm most pissed about missing is Anaal Nathrakh. They don't seem like the kind of band that'll come around here often. |
MO
01.23.13 | oooo I did not know about the Cannibal Corpse/Napalm Death/Immolation tour, holy shit i'd love to see immolation
i'm still debating opeth, quebec/guelph are both super far and would need to dedicate a full day, which these days is next ot impossible. doing that for meshuggah and animals as leaders in feb though, that is going to be show of the year by a mile |
SCREAM!
01.23.13 | Yeah it's called the decibel magazine tour. Hitting Montreal June first!
And the guelph date is the day after my last exam ever at cite collegiale so it's kind of a gift to myself haha plus my gf likes opeth so she's coming too and we're planning on spending a couple of days in Toronto afterwards. Gonna be pretty sweet |
Hyperion1001
01.23.13 | yeah im seeing immerlations in atlanta
