Podcasts I Have Enjoyed For Years

These have been my go to podcasts for as long as i can remember. Mostly comedy shows, and quite a few from Earwolf. Usually when deciding on what to listen to in the car or at home i go from music to podcasts. I have to have some background sound going Also some albums i really enjoyed in 2019
6Brand of Sacrifice
God Hand

Car Talk

Description:
“America's funniest auto mechanics take calls from weary car owners all over the country, and crack wise while they diagnose Dodges and dismiss Diahatsus. You don't have to know anything about cars to love this one hour weekly laugh fest.”

Technically not a podcast, but turned into one since production ended on NPR. One of my longest listened to shows, and hope I can listen to this for a long time. I just wish I could get more episodes or archived episodes more easily.
5Tripzy Leary
Planet Mycelium

High and Mighty

Description:
“Gabrus' interests are all over the place...and so is this podcast. He interviews friends and celebrities, some who are both. About the kind of stupid stuff that a nerd/meathead/manchild would be into. Tangents are not only allowed, they are encouraged.”

I like hearing a dude from Long Island talk, with a Long Island accent, and talk and talk about himself & Long Island. All while super baked

Nothing Left to Love

Comedy Bang Bang

Description:
“Join host Scott Aukerman (“Comedy Bang! Bang!” on IFC, “Mr. Show”) for a weekly podcast that blends conversation and character work from today’s funniest comedians. While Scott begins by traditionally interviewing the celebrities, the open-door policy means an assortment of eccentric oddballs can pop by at any moment to chat, compete in games, and engage in comic revelry. With all that, and regular bonus episodes, we bet your favorite part will still be the plugs!”

Memphis Kansas Breeze (Ep: 616) provided one of the best segments I’ve ever heard on the show with their 3 outrageous songs
3LUZCID
Prophecy

Threedom

Description:
“Scott Aukerman, Lauren Lapkus and Paul F Tompkins abandon their regular formats to focus on the basics of being funny with each other.”

3 friends just talking about whatever, mostly over each other. Each episode makes me laugh non-stop. Probably the podcast i've re-listened to the most out of all
2Dead/Awake
Dead/Awake

R U Talkin U2 to Me? (into: R U Talkin REM RE Me?)

Description:
“Adam Scott (Parks and Recreation) and Scott Aukerman (Comedy Bang! Bang!) come together as superfan Adam Scott Aukerman to discuss the music and impact of the band R.E.M. Through an album by album analysis, listen to these friends break down everything and nothing about the band. This is good rock n’ roll, uh, music. Yes, this is the podcast formerly known as U Talkin’ U2 To Me?”

Scott and Scott talking about 2 bands they love album by album. Don’t really care too much for either band but it’s a completely enjoyable presentation. Just like Analyze Phish, i completely love Scott and Scotts back and forth, and all of their side podcasts throughout
1Ganja White Night
The One

Analyze Phish

Description:
“Harris and Scott are comedians, music lovers, and friends. Where do they differ? Harris loves Phish, and Scott does not. On Analyze Phish, Harris navigates the vast landscape of Phish’s catalogue to find entry points for Scott while trying to explain the live Phish experience without the use of illegal substances.”

Not a huge fan of the band but Harris and Scott got me to at least give them a chance. I enjoyed Harris and Scotts back and forth banter more than anything. I wish Harris was still around. And even though it derailed into Analyze Phish where they talk about Jaws, it’s a great podcast at 10 eps long.
